I have been asked how to do this, my answer exceeds the 420 character limit for DMs so I made it a post.

====================================================

Search for an extension called "RevEye" and add it to your browser.

When you right-click on an image a fly-out menu will appear and you will see "Reverse Image Search", click on that and another fly-out menu appears. Click on "All search engines"

The reverse image search engines for Yandex, Google, Bing and TinEye will open four new tabs, for most browsers.

Yandex is the most useful, Bing the least, for me all of them can make a difference.

There are a number of things you can do with these tabs to identify a fake ad.

The most common is finding images that come from porn sites - or some girl pic site like "The Chive", from non-Canadian escort agencies, which includes the USA, Europe, the Middle East, or from an entirely foreign language site (usually Russian or Mandarin).

Look for Leolist postings on the same day, or very close together, in different Canadian cities. Or LL postings that show a bizarre travel pattern when you look at the posting dates e.g; Vancouver (Sep 3) -> Saint John (Sep 10)-> Winnipeg (Sep17)-> Prince George (Sep 24) -> Ottawa (Oct1). No escort travels like that.

Look for changing names and phone #s e.g; she's Trixie in Saskatoon and has a 438 area code, then she's Molly in Winnipeg with a 604 area code, then Sarah in Moncton with a 613 area code, and so on.

Thanks for all the useful information. I'm sure many of us here will use it to the full potential.

Ha! What will happen is a month from now people will ask how we know how to figure out if an ad is fake and like lots of other threads , we’ll have to direct people to here :)

Case Study:

Here is an ad by a "Nisha" today:

nisha.png

reverse image search for the second last image gets this result with Yandex:

leolist_nisha.png

The Brampton ad - also running for the last few days - turns up "Riya", who has a different phone#:

That could be Keissy Hennessey's or Emily Rushton's travel schedule.

That's a bit of a stretch, Keissy, Emily and all the other reputable ladies are too smart and too organized to waste time and money on a bad tour schedule.

Thanks to COVID and the decline of oil and gas production the ladies do not travel as much or as widely anymore. Visits to the shale oil towns of S.E. Sask/S.W. Manitoba have vanished. Visits to Fort Mac are way down, only one or two ads a month.

Some reputable ladies used to drive out from the East, now the only ones may be one or two Quebec ladies in one car, often travelling with their pimp, with designs to rip us off.

VJ, Giovanna Luv, and Roksi - to name a few - are all gone from the travelling circuit. Emily Rushton does not travel nearly as much as she once did. Russian Irena only comes here now. Amanda Schmanda stopped driving across Canada and only flies now...to Calgary and Edmonton, no more smaller cities or towns. Destiny Xu has cut back her Canadian tours to Vancouver, Toronto and Calgary as she re-brands herself as an international premium escort.

And the few good ones who still travel regularly have characteristic patterns of travel; Lara, Lacy Lovelle, Maxim and Keissy come to mind. But they don't bounce back and forth coast-to-coast every few days.

My point is:

I used to allow some slack for crazy tour schedules, not so much now. If the lady in the ad is going to a lot of small towns off the beaten path all across Canada and she is an unknown - you can find nothing on her anywhere, she has never been here before, no one else knows anything about her - she's fake.

Any suggestions for those of us who do it all on our smartphone?

For Android:

download and install "Reverse Image Search (Multi-engines)" from Google Play Store.

Press on the image you are investigating then hit "Save image", it will be saved in the Gallery.

Open the app, hit the plus sign (lower right) and select the image from Gallery.

It will automatically do its own search first, then offer you to do your own, with a selection of Google, Yandex, and Bing at the bottom of the screen.

Start with Yandex, the middle icon.

For iPhone:

don't know.
