A few random thoughts:

Assuming the government will pass the legislation where the client will be in violation of the law - what are the chances for that to be inforced? How exactly will the cops will apply the law for the indoor prostitution which is for the most part initiated through ads? Me thinks it will be really dangerous to see a new lady as it may turn out to be honey pot.

The government cannot dictate me how I spend my money. I am not having sex with children or underage people, i don't pick up street workers, I don't tell anybody what I do so why the fuck has the government to tell me not to pay someone so I can fuck them? I don't have a wife, I don't have a gf, women are not attracted to me, I don't have time to pick up women and I don't know how to do it so my only option is to pay someone to have sex with me.
Consequently, by criminalizing the purchase of sex, the government basically it's denying me the right to have sex.
I would say such a law would violate my basic human rights and it should be deemed unconstitutional.

I am sure someone will fit this profile and take it to court.

In Lust Mostly
I am betting AMPs, Micro's, Massage Parlours will be the first wave.

It will take a lot of effort to bust someone seeing an Indy. Especially one you may have seen before.

They can. They will -- if you are unlucky, or in the wrong jurisdiction. You have no guaranteed right to have sex. Good luck with that argument in the courts.

The way they do it in Sweden is to subpoena the SP to testify against her client. And if she refuses, she then gets charged with obstruction of justice - with the possibility of jail and a criminal record for that. So it's a choice between testifying against the client and providing the evidence to send him down ... or going to jail herself...

Also, for SPs with children, they threaten to take the children away and place them in foster care on the grounds that their mother is clearly mentally unstable as evidenced by her failure to recognize that she is being exploited by the men paying her and therefore is an unfit mother.

Oh yes, and I understand (from the published reports of Swedish SP advocates) that the police will also break into the woman's apartment as soon as a man goes in (I don't remember offhand if it's with or without a warrant) on the grounds that they believe a woman is being sexually exploited by a criminal...

So don't worry: if the law passes and the police want to charge a specific man -- they'll do it.

You know when this whole thing went to court, a few months ago, I was very apprehesive on what the outcome would be. A bunch of us with our heads in the clouds thought this would open up a few new doors. No one really thought it would close those doors. It has gone that way sadly.

I would like to say that the tactices imployed in Sweden would not be tolerated by our courts

But the second bill that is in the house. goes hand in hand with the prostitution bill
The family secutity bill . is prime to inforcing some of those undeocratic and uncondtitutional practises
that they fo in Sweden

The averaga person wont do any thing talk up against these bills.. Because they dont think they will be effected..only a bunch of low life hooks and unwant imagrents are going to get shit on

That is of course untill they are effected.. And then its to late
