Ok, so I guess after the total Ass-chewing I took for the post(s) I made the other day (Toni at 50th Street), it would be nice to know if it's possible to build up some credibility on here.
Anyone willing to offer up some pointers to the new guy on here?
Although I'm not totally new to all this hobby (pooner, etc) I guess I need some pointers on how to go about getting an honest review on here that someone might take notice of for the right reasons.
Been visitting MPs for about 8 months now, about twice a week or so. As I said, not new to it, but definitely not a real pro like some of you on here.
Just don't want to keep making a complete fool of myself, that's all

i actually think ur toni review didn't sound that shilly, but they did come down pretty hard on u. lol.

pretty much just state the facts when u're starting out. once u've got a bunch of reviews under ur belt, then u can fluff it up a bit. whenever newbies start off with all the fluff, they just sound like a shilly promoter for the sp. hence why u get flamed.

and give a little more play by play.

Thx Chuck. I guess I keep trying and see how it goes.
A quick question; When is it considered "too late" to write a review of an MP/SP. Is writing a review now about a session I had a few months ago going to carry any real weight? Had some great sessions with great ladies, and had a few duds where I wish I would have just continued down the road, so I may have a little insight to offer if the timing is still current.

a review is a review. but the longer u wait, the more facts u forget. so it might be a small review. that usually leads to getting flamed.

i'm an advocate of not doing same day reviews to keep your anonymity. i usually review up to 2-weeks later.

m17,

As long as you have an honest review - remember, don't exaggerate too much, we all understand the L (look) department is a bit hard to rate since we all have our own preference/taste; but remember, the difference should not be a large margin, that is to say if many members consider the look of a certain lady is around 6, and your rating at 8 or 9...it's not going to fly...however, the A (attitude) and S (services) should not be very hard...remember, the rating of look from 8-10 are rare...especially 9 and 10...it's like someone you see in the MT mall or Robson Street and you just could not take your eyes off her even with your SO with you (sorry, I took this from one of the members on Perb).

Welcome to Perb and I am sure we all appreciate your honest reviews...

I think that posters sometimes get more credibility when they don't just jump right in with post #1 as a big review. Commenting in other reviews, with personal experience of that sp doesn't hurt. Also I think readers can tell the difference between a new reviewer who has taken the time to read other reviews, and posts, and gotten to figure out a review style that sounds more believable, vs one who just jumps in feet first, without regard to anything going on around them. These ones often sound hysterical, short on facts, and big on horrifying accusations (usually involving unpleasant odors) or romantical fantastical descriptions which turn the sp into some kind of sexual superstar.

I would just say, before you post a review again, just read it, and if it makes you cringe, wince or feel inordinately proud of your prowess, edit it or delete it and try again.

I agree with hugedman and Pillowtalk, that if you keep your reviews more matter-of-fact and less OMGOMGOMGOMGOMGshesfabulous! then you shouldn't have too much trouble about any ass chewing of your posts. And I wouldn't worry too much about the credibility factor; that will come with time and as you build a body of reviews.

Welcome to Perb.

As I said in your Toni review thread, post more reviews. First 1 or 2 posts gushing about one particular SP will throw up red flags.

Best way to build cred is to not lie and then as long as you know you're not lying, not to give a damn what anyone else thinks.

Keep in mind, when you're posting a review, you're basically doing everyone else a favour.

If it's not appreciated, quit doing it.

Personally, I find posting negative reviews harder than positive one's, because I think it requires more tact and one always should look in the mirror when posting a negative review to remind yourself it takes two to tangle, especially when it comes to trying to create chemistry between yourself and an SP.

That said, if she lies about her looks or what's on the menu, tries to upsell you, or is on drugs, this is something we should know about.

Also when you're new to the hobby it's easy to get carried away with a great experience because it may very well be the best sex you ever had with the hottest woman you could imagine, and it's hard not to crow about it.

Here is your review:

I stopped in to see Toni again today. Was hoping for a nice relaxing yet steamy hot tub session, and let me tell you, this little firecracker of a lady did not disappoint. No surprise for me there, since I have had several sessions with her over the past 6-8 months. Whether it be a certain apparel request (stockings are a favorite for me, and it seems a low percentage of SP/MPs ever think of having them around) or today's session request Toni has always provided 5 star service. i will definitely be making several more visits to Toni. She is definitely one of the best.
Read other reviews by "credible' members then compare theirs to yours.

Your review reeks of shilling.

1) Reads more like an advertisement.
2) Hardly any details, lots of vague praises.
3) You've seen her several times over the past 6-8 months, so why review now? The timing is suspect.
4) Avoid using phrases like one of the best.

In general, just bear in mind that your review will be scrutinized and be as truthful and provide as much details as you can without compromising the privacy of the SP.

p.s. Welcome to Perb and don't get discouraged easily. Eventually, we'll figure out whether your are a shill or not...;)

Ok Guys & Gals. Points well taken. Maybe, at least for now, I'll just review some of your posts, offer ideas where appicable, and when I feel I have had a session worth writing a review about, I'll make another effort. See how it goes.
Thanx for the input. Someday I hope to return the favor.
