I go every 3 months as well, always have done in the 6 yrs I have been working. During my last check up in December the nurse at the clinic told me that it's recommended that escorts get checked up once a month. I guess it depends on how risky the services one offers are.
I would concur with the nurse because an escort sees many clients a month, and many of these clients visit other escorts and streetwalkers. If the escort practices CIM, she should be getting tested every 2 weeks in my opinion.
I wonder with respect to escorts, how many of them have a personal doctor that knows what they do and prescribe these tests? Because that's a pretty big deal that a doctor is basically prescribing routine tests, especially if they are every 2 months or less, and it's a big deal for a doctor to know your activities.
For routine HIV testing, I would think that the only way to get them without hassle is to go to the CDC clinic near Cambie st. Otherwise, you'd need a doctor to fill out a form for a lab every time. I've met some pretty ignorant SPs who thought that just because she was getting her pussy examined and culture taken on a regular basis, or was peeing into cup, she was automatically getting an HIV test. I wonder how many of you girls think this way, because an HIV test is something doctors don't do on a routine basis unless a doctor has explicit reasons to do so.
For myself, I get tested every 2 or 3 months. My last test came back 2 days ago, negative on all fronts. I'd post my test results here if I could find a way to ensure my privacy and also that someone isn't going to use it to defraud somebody else.
