At those rates I’d be living so far out of Vancouver sybian would be my neighbour.
For the record……I’ve been informed I’m a horrible neighbour.
That bit if info was given to me by someone who has a vacation home 3 miles from my homestead, and only visits it about once every two months.
If you don’t want cow shit on your front lawn, put up a fence!

Well…..the authorities don’t look at you in a very positive light, when you start burning down peoples vacation homes, just to control property prices.
I learned that one the hard way.
And here I thought the cow shit would have done it!!

My question is what's the cost going to be 20-30 years from now?
Seriously considering moving just for that reason, someplace that you can still by a house for 100 thousand and enjoy retirement.

So a younger relative of mine is considering moving to Van this spring with a good degree in Communications. However, will most likely need a few years trying to get their feet wet in an industry and company. I was asked this morning what is a decent wage/income for someone just starting out after University life. Im not sure so I looked it up some stuff and found this article written Oct 21, 2021. Im not sure I agree with those numbers but they probably have more data on this then I do. Yes I know there are other options outside the city to live in.

Thoughts, feedback, opinions from the Lounge..........
