it does seem like over the last few years Vanessa has become a very comman name, when Vanesssa joined the board it was weird to see another Vanessa of course she has 3 sss but ya it does seem to be a comman name

Yeah when I started I didn't realize there was another Vanessa, but when I saw Dr. Vanessa Kelly I thought at least we had different enough names that we wouldn't get mixed up, I still felt kinda bad though, didn't want her thinking I stole her name

I have always used Vanessa. Vanessa Black was the name I used until men kept asking "is your hair Black" or "are you Black?" then I decided to change it to White when I came to the west coast. I am a white girl with pale skin and so it works. It also signifies clean, so I like that association as well.
And how about girls who are stealing phrases and other unique terms we come up with to make us stand out from the next girl. That REALLY ticks me off!!
