I go about 4 times a month and spend around 1000$ on this hobby. Im trying to check with other pooners here if im addicted or not. I can afford this comfortbly but considering 1000$ for less than 4 hours of fun time. And 1000$ can do a lot, can cover a huge portion of my condo mortgage and is enough to buy a really really nice BMW.

I to find it hard to justify the expense at $200 + for an hour of entertainment. I usually find there are many other things that the money can go to that have more 'staying power' if you know what I mean.
It is not that I can not afford it, it is just to much money for the length of time involved. I have mongered in other parts of the world where $200 would get you star for several days.
I save a good chunk of my mongering cash for use when traveling now. Last winter I was in Viet Nam, Cambodia, Laos and Thailand. Let me tell you, money goes a lot further there.
But one still has to have some fun here as well.

Depends on how much u make....if you're makin 3k net a month and spending 1k on pooning then that's a bit too much. Im sure there are some people in this forum who make 30k + a month and 1 grand a month on pooning is nothing to them.

I went to the rodeo when I was a kid, I saw the bullriding, it was a really boring 8 seconds then, I'm sure your story is similar in detail and timeline, so don't be insulted but I'm not going to ask how it went. I go once to twice a week so 1 to 2 k a month for me.At this rate retirement looks a long long way off.But hey you only live once so I'm going to have fun.I do get a discounted rate with some of the girls I see regularly so I tend to see them more often as it's easier on the pocket book.
$1k a month is a lot, but if you're only going once a week, that ain't bad.....if you're worried about the money, try independant rub and tugs, you get a massage and a nice nude tug once in a while for around $ a shot. Good value for the money.

At my peak maybe 6-8 times/month but now only once or maybe once every couple of months.
For me pooning has been more about a journey. I did it a lot in the beginning because it was new and now I don't get as excited about it anymore. I still like to try to find the great experience off of CL. I think for me it is more about the chase and the great find than it is about having a great experience with a well known lady.
As I have yet to have my first experience (I will be singing a different tune next weekend) I can say I am not addicted (yet) but my buddy who got me started in this direction would classify as an addict from my perspective even though he would deny it.
It hampers his ability to have regular relationships with women and he told me he has spent about $5000 over the last month. Now 5k is like $$$$$ for most people but with all the time he spends with them I think it has distorted his reality a bit.
It is kind sad in a way as he is a very nice guy, woman always compliment him and hit on him when we are out in public but he usually shuts them down. He just has a thing for SP's and usually won't have sex with a "non-pro".

I don't think the money issue or number of sessions per month can label you an addict. I probably have three playdates a month myself. Addict would mean you are constantly looking on CL, PERB, etc daily and constantly thinking about the next date. Like me!!

I can kind of see where he is coming from. I'm not saying I get hit on or anything, but I've lost interest in trying to invest time/effort money on getting to know "non-pro" people or even getting into a regular dating situation at the moment. I used to at least make an effort,try to strike up conversations, now I could care less about talking to them.
