I've pretty much won every bet I've made and almost half the parlay bets I make. A lot easier if you actually follow mma though.

MMA is a good place to bet, provided you use a betting exchange so you get the best odds, and know about the fighters.
Lots of the fights are one sided, and you know they are going to be, but if the odds are too drastic its not worth betting.
Like last UFC, everyone knew koschek was going to beat daley, daleys only chance to win would be a lucky punch in the perfect place.
But the odds werent worth betting.

Several times throughout the year there are fights where the betting is too good to be true, doesn't really happen in other sports, but the mma fans screw up the odds.

Like shogun vs machida, most serious mma fans saw this as a close fight with shogun the edge, but he was +200.
Lots of people cleaned up on the underdog.
or last weekend Tim Silvia, a boring fighter, but does really well against anyone who isn't top 5.
against a polish strongman with no fighting experience, got him at -195 which is like saying he has a 65% change of winning.
like free money.

or this weekend.....Rampage by brutality (Official UFC thread to come)

or when Burger Boy Roy Nelson gets exposed and KO'd by JDS.

The same Tim Silvia who lasted about 30 seconds with a 48 year old Ray Mercer..because he had the audacity to think he could beat him using boxing rules. But then again Mercer lost to Kimbo so go figure. There's a lot of disparity in MMA, particularly amoung the non elites.
