How many of my fellow pooners have a SO?
Do you find it difficult to keep the time and money spent pursuing your hobby difficult?
Are you ever worried about picking up an STI from a service provider?
Or just share any good stories/near misses/close calls.

For many years of my pooning I had a SO, I decided to retire a couple of years ago to focus more on my family lol, actually made things worse, hence I am now back enjoying this great hobby. I was fortunate in that I have had no issues in keeping my hobby away from my SO. Good luck in finding whatever your looking for from your post.

LegOfLamb, you've been a member for almost a year and a half. You should know by now that there are already numerous threads on these topics on this board, nearly all started by newbies who think they're the first to raise this issue. And. most of us could have confirmed Missy Mariposa's number.

Well, not like I can hide it anyhow by taking it off, with the tan line, and the dent in my finger.... lol...
My wifes been away for a week and the tan line and dent are juuuuust about gone! :clap2:

And no joke, the only reason I took it off was the day after she left I jumped over a six foot fence at a buddies farm and the ring caught on top of the tubular steel fence post and almost yanked my shoulder out of its socket. My finger started to swell instantly so I took the ring off right away... The swelling was gone after a couple days but I just cant bring myself to put it back on ha! It's still stashed in the ashtray of my car.

Come Thursday I'll be cramming that fucker back on again though boo.

I've recently become one of Missy's 80% (and I've told her so)! I'll bite on the OPs questions:

How many of my fellow pooners have a SO?
Me

Do you find it difficult to keep the time and money spent pursuing your hobby difficult?
Time, not too difficult. Money, a little.

Are you ever worried about picking up an STI from a service provider?
For sure. Both SO and I are DD free and have an active (if infrequent) unprotected sex life. So I like to be safe and play safely. Um, generally. I have been occasionally weak over the years, though, with the BBBJ instead of the smarter CBJ. And I do stress about it when I succumb to temptation. Have been lucky so far, no stories to share. The few times I have crossed my boundaries I tend to promise myself I won't ever do it again, make up lame excuses why my SO and I can't have sex, and wait until test results come back clear. Unless I know and trust the SP well enough to be able to discuss such things openly, like one should do in civilian life. But with someone new, SP or civilian, it's not worth the stress unless you don't love your SO, and if you don't you should end it.

I used to keep the ring on, but I read somewhere that bacteria tend to lodge under them even when you wash thoroughly, so usually I remove it before showering at the incall, as a courtesy to the woman I'm seeing.

I just think we could all stand to see this again. Hello, infidelity bait! I mean... if I weren't an ethical slut. ;)

I imagine it must be tough to hide the time and money. Time seems easier if you have a job where you can say you are at a work meeting. Money just depends how involved your SO is with your family finances..
You'd be amazed at some of the things I have come up with over the years....

i think people are able to high many vises .. some that even cost more then seeing SPs ,, I think i have spent more money on gambling then of sex .. And then there are tho e with drug and drinking habits .. it all adds up .. Even eating can be an expensive habit and the money goes ....

actually do you know how much a person could save up if they did not eat lunch out or go for that beer after work .. or even cut back on smoking
