How long do you wait???

Simple question.. when contacting a new to you provider. How long do you give them to reply before messaging the next one? Or do you just throw out a dozen texts and see who replies first?

There's one provider I really want to try because of great reviews but communication is lacking

I've found being a new client relies on advance booking, and patience. Most quality providers have a large following of regulars and preference booking for them due to positive encounters. New clients is always a little riskier, regulars are consistent and hopefully enjoyable for her too.

I have been waiting to advance book but it's been painful

This is a tricky one because I mostly make my bookings about 1 week in advance.

That should be plenty of time to wait for a response but I have actually missed an opportunity because I waited 2 -3 days before contacting the next provider. I have also tried waiting 1 day before contacting the next provider then had multiple responses after a few days.

I should add that this has mostly been with first time bookings. If I am a repeat client most providers have responded on the same day if they were not too busy to reply.

For me, if I have an exact date in mind, my waiting time is longer a couple weeks out (say 4-5d if I’m 3 weeks, away knowing that some women catch up on a certain day). Also, I’ll send a gentle follow-up, especially for texts, as some women won’t text back after an hour has gone by (I try to remember to let them know they can respond whenever).
Closer to my preferred day, I shrink down the wait-time (so like 7d out, I’ll wait a day).
Usually this does not happen, fortunately!

I used to send out blanket texts/emails when I was younger but don’t anymore - it’s wasting their time. If the provider is professional, she won’t waste my time either

Really depends. If it's messaging someone I've seen before then I usually have a sense of how quick they normally respond. If I'm trying to arrange something well in advance (days) then I wait a day or two before giving up. If it's taking a chance on someone new/relatively unknown then I probably won't wait very long before giving up.

That’s a tough one. In some cases, the SP could be busy or on vacation. If they have good reviews, chances are they got that way from having people skills and should get back to you. But you may need to be patient. You increase your chance for a response by giving an idea when you want to see them. Also, give enough lead time. And as an aside, send a message that is well thought out, not offensive, grammatically correct (and check for spelling) and has a bit of information about yourself.

When I was seeing more than one provider I would throw out a bunch of texts and whoever answered first would get my business. I would reply to the later replies and let them know that I made other arrangements.

I've tried setting up with a well reviewed provider to whom would be new to me. Have followed their protocol and it's been very hard to communicate with them.

Normally I have no problem setting up appointments but if you text me and I reply almost instantly... I'd expect a reply back but will go unanswered for a day

I'm with FreeG. Plenty of advance warning and then a gentle reminder if necessary nearer the time.

Firstly, same day don't even bother trying with an independent even if they say "same-day availability". If you want to see someone within the next 8-10 hours contact an agency. There a number of reputable ones that will hook you up in short notice. God bless them. I remember Elsi had a same-day charge that I respected because I knew she'd pull through, and I'd never get any grief for being an unprepared perv.

Second, for independents I usually give a loose 24 hour turn around time. I know some of them only do their messages *once* per day. I know they have lives and boundaries which should be expected. I also expect that if the turn around is the equivalent of a blind carrier pigeon that circumstances change, and an previously stated availability for myself might not be available anymore. Mutual respect right? I also expect everyone to be vying for the attention of multiple clients/providers, this is Vancouver after all. That's just business. So fire out as many inquires at once as you want, there's no point in playing the message tennis with a single provider.

Thirdly, if you find that provider that has your fancy, it really doesn't matter how much time it takes then.

I have my regulars that I go to on a regular basis and normally have no problem fitting me in last min when requested but I will normally book them well in advance. Just want to try a more to see what else is offered out there. It has always brought me back to seeing my favorite 2.
