How long? and When????To book.

Okay!! So I want to make an appointment to see a girl this coming weekend.

I have already left a message and sent an e-mail to her. I have not heard back from her yet.

So, My question is. What is the usual time to make an appointment.
Few days? The day before or a few hours.

Should I expect a call back, if so when?

I do have other things I need to plan for.

phone messages or e-mails which is more likely to get a call back .

Am I too early on Thursday to be bugging her.

advanced notice is best

Every lady is different, but most probably like as much notice as possible. I like --atleast-- 3 days notice, as Bobbi mentioned, we have very full lives outside of this.

If she doesn't respond to emails or calls within a few days - plan B & C are on....

I believe most ladies feel this way - as long as we know the gent is sincere.

Some of us can and will entertain engagements on short notice, but I believe most would prefer to know their schedule ahead of time. I always encourage booking an engagment as soon you are certain of your schedule and the time you would like to reserve. I have had engagements prebooked and secured as much as six months in advance. That certainly isn't the norm - but one to two weeks is quite common.

I feel you done the right thing by calling and emailing. You have covered all the bases, and she should definately be checking them both on at least a daily basis.

If you still haven't heard from her, you may want to move onto 'Plan B' as Gina suggested. It is possible she is out of contact or out of town and somehow forgot to turn on her auto responder indicating such.

Well, personally, I make a habit of responding to every inquiry within 24 hours. But if 3 days go by..I would give up on this girl.

I tried to recently book ahead

the lady who answered the phone was a total BITCH!

I had to go on a business trip, and wanted to book a little fun while in town.
Knowing i had a meeting the next morning from 08:00 hrs till 12:00 hrs, i asked for a 12:30 hrs time....she said okay, and the gal i chose was available.
But i had to call an hour or maybe 2 hours before and confirm.....I tried to explain the meeting issue, and she said i could not book the apt then as i was unable to confirm 1 to 2 hours before the apt time.

My whole point of booking ahead was to be able to schedule it in.
I was pissed and told the phone gal so.
I then called another agency and booked an apt for the same time.
I told her about the meeting, and I would be unable to confirm, but would for sure be there at 12:30.

I showed up about 5 minutes early and the gal was ready and waiting....she asked me to not review her on here, but my point is this....if the phone person is good, the business is much better off....if the person answering the phones is too stupid to understand some business people are busy, and thus need to book ahead, then everyone suffers.

The SP was excellent by the way, so I am in hind-sight glad agency number 1 has a shitty phone girl.

Yes, business men are very busy and so are most people, that being said I can see why confirming your appt. was not an easy venture. But also understanding the reason for ladies wanting confirmation prior to play time is also important. As someone who required playdates to be confirmed one hour prior to playtime, I can certainly see their point as well. The only reason someone would not have to confirm with me, is if they had seen me multiple times and that they were reliable and on time for their sessions. You see, some men (most are not) are ignorant and think that it is fun booking appt's and not showing up, or that they are just too busy to make a phone call to say "hey sorry, but I can't make it". Thus leaving a lady to wait and wonder "is he going to show up", if this happens a couple of times in one day it can be very frustrating. I only say this because of my first day working, an sp and her boyfriend, I won't mention names, did not like the fact that I was going to be her direct competition- so they thought that getting a few people to book appt's under false names would keep me unbusy for the day. It was a very nasty trick, but I thank her for it in the end because after that I have not had any "no shows" since then, since all were required to give confirmation (just a voicemail message) and if there wasn't a message then I knew they were too busy to play!!

Well I offered to call at 07:00 hrs and confirm my 12:30 hrs apt then, but that was not good enough for her either.....so i guess i should just whip out my cell phone in the middle of a meeting to confirm then...I sure would have the attention of the others in the room then....LOL
