I've only only been here for a few years, but after seeing what Hastings/Commercial area looks like now I can't believe it once used to be good. It's a desolate intersection; what was the attraction for SW's?

If you search mapquest for intersaction: Kingsway & Joyce, and city: Vancouver, you'll see the map. SW's on both sides of Kingsway, but mostly on the north side. It starts at about 2 blocks east of Joyce on Kingsway (there's a CIBC at the corner for all your cash requirement), and ends at about 3 blocks east of Boundary. Go check it out. In fact I'm heading out right now

Midtrack is still the pitts - slim pickings and lots of fuzz. Kingsway is ok, not rocking, but where the action is (and Surrey too). The old Main St midtrack will never return to its old glory days in the 90's.
Do you think it may come back after the olympics???

drive from metrotown kingsway west , right on nanaimo left down powell, left at clark, back up to kingsway, left back to metrotown . your bound to get lucky , keep your head up for girls getting dropped off on the sidestreets . i've seen girls near adanac and clark because they like to ask the bikers for a cigarette or a smoke . always carry cigarettes and a lighter.

The police are all looking like fuckheads today. They assasinated the kid in burns lake, murdered the confused imigrant at the airport, abused the conceirge at an upscale condo, etc etc etc.
They have a long way to go to repair their image with the public and I hope they do some soul searching to do it. I don't like hating cops and I don't want them ending up like some bitter private club, where it is us against them. If it is. head to the hills with weapons
