Hi guys, I havent been to Vancouver's midtrack (the area around Hasting & Commercial) since 2001 and back then it was great!!
I'm going back for New Years eve this year and I wanna do some cruising.
I'm hearing though the area isnt as good anymore, is this true????
Or is there still plenty of goodlooking girls????

Its pretty slim pickin's these days. A few years ago, there were hotties all over the place in the mid track. I could go there almost any night and see cuties all over the place. Now its mostly crack ho's and cash 'n dashes. Don't know where all the good ones have gone. Maybe the LE has somethin to do with it. The place is usually crawlin' with 'em. Never used to be that bad.

Three of the last four times I went by there, there was intense LE activity. Friday night at 7 PM I went by and noticed 2 different faces that I hadn't seen before within the same 3 block area. Went back and there were 3 police cars nailing someone at the one corner, and then went passed the other new face where there were 2 police cars nailing someone else AT THE VERY SAME TIME!

I've NEVER seen the coverage that intense before, so I'd be inclined to either avoid the area for a little while, or be VERY, VERY careful!

I've noticed the same thing for the past 6 months or so. I got pulled over myself a couple of months ago for just talking to a SW. They pulled me over for apparently making an "unsafe start" from the corner of Franklin and Commercial. Then they started grilling me about why I was talking to the SW. I told them I was asking for directions and then they started grilling me about why I was in the area. I couldn't believe how they were hassling me. Since then I've been keeping my eyes peeled and notice unmarked cars all over the friggin' place there. I've heard the same thing from a couple of the SWs that I know in the area. I'm hearin' that the LE are makin' a major crackdown in the area. Not sure how long its going to go on but I'm avoiding it for now.

Usually these things go on for a while and then they peter out.
Once LE realizes squashing the world's oldest profession is futile, they'll move on to other things.

dont think it will ever or it might pickup a bit once the warmer weathers arrive. I think the old midtrack has moved itself onto the Kingsway Joyce area now. Saw a very hot petite blonde there, got quoted $.2 for the entire deed, went to the machine, came back and this bastard was 1 step ahead of me. DAMNNNNN ITTT... it got to be Hatrick!!! Hatrick you bastard, give others a chance on some of them hot deals.. :p

high track is on Seymour downtown. some good ones, and some bad ones just like anywhere else. the bad ones are the ones who don't want to be there and are working for their pimps.

Sad to say that mid track will never be the same as it was at the peak in late 90's. Back then, you could never go wrong - cuties everywhere for reasonable coin. Nowadays it is very hit and miss, prices are up and LE everywhere. Unless you are a hard core cruizer (and I use to be one!), the independent SP or MP scene may be better. Mid track likely won't pick up anytime soon.
