Downtown, Langford, Uptown other areas? The travel distance is all really short compared to Vancouver so the simple question is, does it really matter that much?

Victoria seems particularly difficult to find good locations. Most rentals are rental specific buildings with on-site staff vs Vancouver were they are all owned condos rented by owners.

Langford is a bit far from town but anywhere else is ok. Your last location was good

On or near a main bus line is nice. I agree with Travellingman about your last location.

what's important in Victoria now is parking. a parking area like a large parking lot is best for discretion. Victoria downtown is now a nightmare.

I'm assuming this was the James Bay location, large condo locations are the best (for me) less chance that anyone knows why you are there newer concrete buildings...lower floors so you can use the stairs. Parking is not an issue, I would never use the parking at a in-call, better to park a few blocks away. Downtown is best! (for me)

I think unless you work downtown, a lot of people are avoiding the area these days. The reduction in available parking makes it a pain, and I rarely venture there anymore. Uptown, or maybe somewhere in the Hillside corridor would be ideal, and close enough to downtown for those wanting to venture out.

I don't think downtown is a must. Last location was really good. (Uptown, not James Bay)

Really anywhere in the main part of town is best. Along a main corridor really. Ask Ashley what she likes. ;)

I think there is a reason all the agencies and amps are close to the downtown area. IMO, you don’t want to be much further out than your last location.

Yes, and that's why I have condo owner friends and family in Vancouver who always complain about noisy, disruptive renters who don't give a damn about condo bylaws. This is why renters should only be in "rental specific buildings with on-site staff", so that they can be kept in check and not cause a toxic living environment. But of course they want to live in a luxury condo (instead of a rental building), while owners live off the investment and owner-residents suffer. I don't like Vancouver. None of this is on topic, of course, but there we are.

A discreet, quiet location with street parking—set away from commercial enterprises is best. Langford, Central Saanich, even Royal Oak is too far for me.
