I'm curious what lead to asking the question.
Maybe her new screening process will include a reading comprehension aspect?

I'm guessing that the instructions I'm quoting below from her ad here on perb are not being understood or adhered to by some asking for a meeting, lol.

From her perb ad

BOOKING
To ensure a booking please follow the step below!
*1.*
When you text and pm please in the message say your" handle" and "number" so I can cross reference.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
*2.* If you have no posting as in reviews please text me the name of the last SP so I can reference you.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
*3.* If you don't have a Perb handle please text me your name and the last SP you seen so I can reference you.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Pre-booking recommended due to availability. References required with the exception of highly active Users. When you text, or pm please indicate your name, number, handle in both! PM IS A MUST

This could be a challenge for some on this board based on what I've seen.😁

Not sure if this counts, but in grade school reading comprehension was a huge deal. Especially in Grade 3. I don't have an eidetic (photographic memory) but as close as one gets without having one. A blessing and a curse, as long as memorization was in play I was rolling 7's but sometimes it made me lazy.

I think it's hyper important but it also depends on the times and the format.
In this day and age with the amount of information available to us, most of us skim. It's too much effort if we were to take in every piece of information like it was an edict from God. Most of use catch keywords, some basic points about what's being said, and hope there's someone to fill us in if details matter. The purpose of the writing influences the attention we give it too. If it's a warrant, you bet your bottom dollar I'd read every single word. If it's an ad with sexy photos above, my brain is already half way to mush.

I'm not excusing poor behaviour, but it's just the fact of how the world works.

For example, would I like drivers to turn on their turn signals before they make a turn. Absolutely.
Is that going to happen? We're lucky if a pedestrian or cyclist isn't struck.

So this is an acceptable thread but i ask for a referral for a amp and my stuff is deleted?!?!
If you had stuff deleted, you can pm the mods to ask why. I doubt you will get an answer here.

And now, back to the show!

I don't see why it should be different in this hobby. It's ironic that some of the most pricey ladies are those who try to avoid a good customers service. With those high profit, they should have an assistant (but not a pimp, plz).
And good luck having them comprehend this!

You guys are all living in a dream world, do you have any idea how many people can’t tell the difference between the review forum and the 411 forum? And you expect them to be able to comprehend rocket science screening procedures? Dreamers! lol
Let alone how to spell simple words like “ad” quite a few spell it as “add”

We can't ignore that is business. In any single commercial setting, potential customers may still have some questions not covered in advertisings or webpages I don't see why it should be different in this hobby. It's ironic that some of the most pricey ladies are those who try to avoid a good customers service. With those high profit, they should have an assistant (but not a pimp, plz). However, the simple and fast solution is just ignore a message that not comply with their booking template. I assume that the poll is about this issue, otherwise I don't think reading comprehension skills is important in the bed, excepting when you ask a SP to play the role of a slutty sexy teacher😜.
Expecting a customer to comply with a booking protocol and being difficult when asked to clarify services are two different things.

I can't figure out what this thread is all about. Am I missing something?

While reading comprehension is important, clear communication of offered services and modalities of interaction are also important. Ambiguity in menus and pricing are a pet peeve of mine. Not saying anything in this particular case, but in reading reviews, many times we see complaints that what was expected was not delivered, either though deception or through miscommunication.

Relying on someone to interpret information is made a lot easier when the information is laid out in a clear and concise manner. One should not have to have a college level reading comprehension skill to answer an ad.

Shall we ask this of SPs: how important do you think writing skills are?

While services are often hidden behind the YMMV excuse, I also don't see the logic of omitting rates and complaining about "getting many messages/time-wasters." Do they charge less if they give less service? Of course not.
