Would you not see a SP if she had a cheaper / less upscale incall, or booked a cheaper hotel for her tour?

Would you want a better location if she charged more than the average SP?

I am basically good if the incall is at a hotel or condo.
It does not matter if the hotel is very upscale or lower end.

I would not visit if the incall was at a house/residence.

As long as it meets bare basics... I suppose that's different for everyone. The worst incall I've been to was some 3-4 story lowrise that was probably 40-50 years old. It was very borderline in terms of comfort, probably more to do with not being used to it than anything, as there was nothing wrong with the neighbourhood or provider.

For me the location is as important as the girl. I wouldn't be comfortable doing it in a dump especially with someone I just met. High rise condos where you can come and go without attracting attention are the ideal.
I wouldn't visit any girl at a hotel. How many guys would have sweated on those same bed sheets before your number was called or used one of the few available towels?

Reason being I'm asking is I'm am going on a business trip soon and would like to know if staying near the Airport or Burnaby hotel area would be ideal for SPs coming for outcalls? Also, vice versa, would any of you men staying downtown or in another area in proximity want to go to the Airport or Burnaby area hotels?

Unless you know the SP ahead of the outcall, I'd say it limited chance of an SP going to a residence aka AirBnB.

Why not go to an incall?

Have you considered "what if this date goes to shit"?

Being in your hotel room is the last place you want a bad date.

Still lost in the '60s
For this senior on an Old Age Pension, who depends on public transportation, the most important factor is how close she is to a Skytrain station, as I can't push my walker all that far anymore.

This is great data, thanks vancityhobbs for creating this poll!!! I've always asked myself this question before realizing nobody cares that I book expensive suites in NYC... The space just needs to be clean, conveniently located and somewhat upscale.

For an hour or two nobody really cares, there's no time to admire the fancy shampoo.

If you are spending the night those breakfast buffets are great. For a weekend, you have time to use a pool or gym. Otherwise, save your money and stick to basics.

Bingo. I'll bet, for the most part no one really pays attention. Unless one is in a complete rat infested place.....save your dough.

For me.....I prefer to visit ladies in high rise condos close to the skytrain or fairly close by. I hate driving downtown lol. Rip off parking prices imho.

Personally, incalls in downtown Vancouver are ridiculously inconvenient. whether or not theyre within 3-5 minutes close to the skytrain might gain my attention otherwise, these places are a waste of my time.
That's why, for me, I prefer incall visits outside of the downtown core. In the burbs. Lougheed mall, metro town or new west
area. Its unfortunate New West doesn't hold a lot more S/ P incalls. I guess Highgate/ Edmonds isn't all that far.

Its very important to me now. The only bad time I had was shithole of a motel in Surrey. I was too new at this so I didn't know better, should have walked. Now I don't do motels, no matter what. its only condos for me, nothing else.

Very important. The best spots have been dedicated to the SP's work (ie, they don't live there). Gerri's place in Victoria comes to mind: front part is like a showroom condo unit, bedroom is chock full of sex toys (!), bathroom is spotless with plenty of unscented shampoo and soaps. Entry is off a side-street and there are "alibi" places nearby in the off chance you're seen :)

Worst place was one SP's home (in a previous city I lived). Now, I totally get that we have lives outside of the hobby/business, but the fantasy I pay for does not include the SP's 2YO birthday pictures on the bedside table please! Nor does it include said kid's toys and laundry piles everywhere.... Another SP, who provided a great service, had just moved into a place; the bedroom had just a bed: no radio, no blinds, no table, nothing. The rest of the place, from my quick glance, had one piece of furniture and an empty pizza box and that was about it. Granted, she was outstanding and the place was clean (probably only because it was so new!). A 3rd SP who hosted at her place also had laundry piles and junk all over her bathroom countertop (I was afraid of living the Seinfeld episode where he finds the antibiotic cream that ended up being for the woman's cat). The plus was large mirrors on the closet doors, which isn't always found in a hotel :)

For hotels, I think the most important part is simply for the room to be easy to get to. Its hard to be discrete when you're hanging around the lobby for her to come meet you because the elevator needs a room key, or construction in the hotel requires you to navigate a labyrinth of stairs and exit doors.

Well, this poll's results sure make me one happy camper. Thank goodness for not having to spend a fortune on four or five star hotels during week long tours. ^_^

I used to do that, and it's a double-edged sword. For some reason if you cheap out on the hotel clients will actually believe you're high-volume, when you actually don't have that big a cost to recoup. But if you book a nice suite somewhere some clients get intimidated. It's a mystery to me, but the idea that you might make more than them gets in the way.

Now I just go for a standard room in nice hotels... Everybody's happy.

Ah, thank you for the insight Aellyn! Haven't done an official tour yet - at least not until the 11th! Will keep this in mind for future tours.

A four/five star hotel was my first choice, but at the same time it does seem like a double-edged sword, as you had mentioned, considering some folks seem to be wary of hotels in general, while others are more comfortable with an incall apartment space.

Granted, I have read through your posts, as well as a few other highly regarded companions' posts, on particular hotels in Downtown Vancouver that help the entire process for both parties to be as discreet as possible. Sadly, I still received a number of inquiries uncomfortable with the recommended four/five star hotels. So after much debate, another incall apartment suite was chosen! ^_^

Also, being downtown, it seems that having parking available was just as crucial as your space. So exciting to learn more about this profession every day, whether it be from trial and error, or from other lovely companions such as yourself!

You're very welcome dear. Happy to share some thoughts :)
Didn't realize you were local. Yes you do need an incall space rather than work out of hotels, makes more business sense in addition to helping clients make sure they won't have to justify their presence in a hotel if they're seen.
