When I first started going to escorts and AMPs back in the day I equated shots with value, so I pursued the MSOG option whenever possible. But after discovering Perb and reading the wide range of experiences, an evolution of sorts happened where it became less about the destination and more about the journey. There was also a natural maturation process and I discovered the joys of edging, S&M when circumstances allowed, and the occasional foray into group play.

Where before it was always about “my” gratification, in the last years it’s been much more about “us.” I’ve learned to slow down and discover what the SP enjoys and often (but not always) we’ll have a pretty good time. By slowing it down I’ve gone on adventures I never would have in my rabid phase. Lol.

In my younger days I would avoid Asians because of a couple of negative experiences where I felt what was agreed to was not met, or services were rendered with the enthusiasm of a root canal. But through Perb I discovered an entire solar system of amazing Asian providers.

I’ve always enjoyed women of all ages and that remains true now; there is a sexiness that age confers upon a woman that is equal in measure to the innocence of youth. To me sexy is sexy, no matter the age or body shape. That being said I do have my ideal shape, but I’m happy to color outside of those lines when an adventure presents itself.

My sex drive and stamina may have been higher back then, but I’m pretty content where I am now; and I’m pretty sure any SP I’ve been with would prefer the 2024 vintage of me.

I think I've grown and matured as a person, and along the way gotten a clearer sense of what I like, more confidence and directness in my communication, and more skill in certain areas. That said, my ideal with a provider has from day one been a passionate and sensual GFE-- I haven't gotten any kinkier in middle age.. In terms of services I don't need much-- just give me the four Ds (DFK, Digits, DATY, DATO) and I'm a happy camper. If BBJ/CIM is in the mix as well that's pretty much an ideal session for me. When I was younger I was more limited in the type of providers I was interested in but over time I've developed an appreciation for different body types and women with diverse cultural backgrounds.

Lately I've really found myself in a place of gratitude. Life is hard, often painful and uncertain... and the world is a mess right now. I for one am super grateful to live in a place where there are so many beautiful women and wonderful providers out there to help make the world just a little more bearable.

Not really.... I'm a guy of simple pleasures, which isn't so simple to obtain since I look to this hobby.

I'm just happy finding anyone who is real, clean, safe, and professional. Any ethnicity, age range between my age and a decade younger....etc... Nothing has really changed in what kind of provider or certain services I request, since I'm pretty much open to anything as I've always been.

I would say that with time dabbling in the scene, I gained some 'street-smarts' to know how to steer clear from all the red-flags. I believe I'm able to think with the big-head long enough to know which girl is a genuine provider and those who are scammers. Like "maybe I should go for the 19yr 'party-girl', and look for someone with experience and a right balance of sophistication and sleaziness'"...

I used to go by looks only. It took multiple mediocre experiences with really hot women and some amazing experiences with women who were not conventionally "hot" for me to realize that service trumps looks. It is thanks to this board that I can hear about ladies that provide good service from customers instead of having to rely on chance from ads in the Georgia Straight or the Buy-n-Sell. Good service is sexy. I know that most are performing but there are some damn good performers out there. It is a huge turn off when it feels like the provider is just going through the motions.

My habits have changed in that I am so much better at communicating what I like. I used to just go with someones routine and felt like I was being bossy or pushy to request something. Some providers only want to do their routine. If the routine is awesome I am down for that, but there seems to be a small list of ladies that that check the boxes of what I like in their off the the shelf routine. I prefer providers that communicate and ask what I like and appreciate direction and feedback because they want to make sure you are having a good time. Communication is key for me.

I really like the idea about slowing down suggested by VinVan. I am often nervous with a new provider and can rush things a bit. Going slow is sexy too. I will try that in the future.
