I'm not an expert on massage, but couldn't a two hour massage be more demanding of the masseur than 2 one hour massages with a break in between?

I see a RMT on a regular basis. She charges $92.00 for an hour and $140.00 for 90 minutes. To use McDiver's math, the 90 minute session should be no more than $138.00. However, both sessions include the time required to undress and dress. Since it takes the same time to dress and undress for both 60 and 90 minutes, the additional 30 minutes is all massage time so I don't think that it is wrong to charge a slightly higher rate for the extended time.

As was previously pointed out, longer sessions result in less break time as the breaks usually occur when the client is dressing and undressing.
