Don't envy us, unless you're one of lucky guys who women gravitate to anyway. This is basically how it is today: without a lot of the restrictions of your day, girls are acting more in accordance with their nature. And what's in their nature? To all go for the same few guys they're most attracted to - even if it means having to share them - while rejecting the rest of us before we can even open our mouths.

In your day it was more balanced, less disparity between the haves and have-nots. Maybe there weren't as many short-term flings going on in total, but pretty much any guy who was outgoing enough could at least get a girlfriend and eventually have sex with her. Not so today, where we basically have the modern equivalent of harems. Great if you're one of the chosen few. Not so great if you're not (and don't have money to spend on sp's of course, which luckily I do).
