How does an SP get up the elevator if there is a room key needed for access?

I was recently staying at a hotel downtown and I had to use my room key to use the elevator from the lobby. (to get to any floor not just my floor) and I was wondering what would happen if I called for an outcall - how would the SP get to my room?
I have never had to think about this before, usually the elevators are accessable and the ladies don't have a problem getting to my room.
Just wondering...

in such cases.....what has worked for me is......going down to get them. tell them about the elevator....and to call you when they arrive

There are several ways. One is to meet them at the lobby and to take them to your room. Some SPs will get on the elevators with other hotel guests and ask them to use their keys to get to your room. Finally, one SP I saw took the stairs all the way up to my floor. I was on the 15th floor!!!

Meet for a drink nearby, give her your spare key, go back to the room and have her meet you in fifteen :)

Most often we just meet at or near the elevator or else I've had someone simply leave a key for me at the front desk (using a more common name lol). I just collected it and went right up to the room.

Collect the key from her when she gets to your room and if for some reason, you forget and you're truly worried, you can just go to the front desk and tell them yours doesn't work anymore or you've lost it. They'll simply re-program it for you and any other ones won't work anymore. :)

I don't think so.
Lol ok, I'm going to have to play the dumb act on this one and take a guess... you're concerned that the girl that showed up at the room would be someone else?
Usually I met clients either beforehand or at the elevator but with especially nervous clients and when security was much more alert (during the olympics I felt more like a secret agent than a private companion when meeting with people that were here as part of their job) often that seemed to be the best way to do it, grab a coffee in the afternoon or a drink in the evening nearby, get the key, and meet up shortly after at their room.
have you had an experience with that plan going poorly? tell me!

I guess I just don't like the idea of giving a key to someone I don't know. They could show up at 3AM (with helpers) or when I'm out of the room.

it seems to me it would almost be an impossibility for somebody to beat the pooner back to the room in the scenario pointed out. and if the pooner received the key (actually 'the pass-card') from the lady when she arrived, that would eliminate the 3 am scenario as well (i don't think too many rip off set-ups can duplicate a pass-card quickly) so for that reason i agreed with alix's original post

Well, he could walk back to his room after having had a drink and given her the key. And as he's waiting for her, she arrives with someone else. Things is, she could arrive with someone else without having the key if it's in a hotel that doesn't require one to go up the elevator... so I think it's kind of unlikely.

However, unless he's booking a multi hour date, 1hr is a bit short for some people to spend part of that time having a drink and most would probably prefer to spend the full our in the room ;) Depends on personal preferences...

Thanks to everyone for the replies.

I was trying to avoid the whole go down to the lobby thing because I was with a group of colleagues and their wives at the time and I wanted the "visit" to be discreet.
Also, I'm not comfortable with leaving my room to meet my SP as I like to have a shower and be ready for her arrival.
Since I couldn't figure out how to get around the security of the locked out elevators I just had a cold shower and went to bed (so to speak).

It was really too bad too because I had visions of getting a blow job and/or doing it doggy style in a luxurious room on the 23rd floor while looking out at the North Shore mountains!
I am staying at a different hotel in a couple of weeks and I don't thnk they have this problem with their elevators. Hopefully I will have a view of the mountains... ;-)

You never seen a James bond movie? They use sucker cups and crawl up the outside of the building to get up.

Just be smart next time and stay at the hotel without the key access to the elevator!
