How do you use backpage?

Hey kats n kittens,

Not sure if you know but there has been some changes to backpage for advertisers. This has changed how some ads are "bumped."

I use BP on chrome or safari and usually set it to gallery to look. The options to arrange ads are by top/gallery/video/date. Depending on which one you choose, you will see different ads.

I have found the "date" sorting to be best. Any other input?

I am also going to see if looking through the bp app shows different results.

A lot of advertisers are only available sporadically. They advertise the day they are available. No point looking at ads for ones who were available yesterday but not today.

Actually even if a lady advertises everyday, depending on how they use bp their ad will only come up under date. Just found this out today. Ugh wait, Im gwtting mixed up.

Date gives most options

Gallery/top/video give only certain advertisers.

When i log on and enter brandon in the search it automatically goes to top. There is 6 ad's for tuesday. When i click on gallery there is 6 for tues as well. When i click on date there is 13 for tuesday !??
Emily Rushton is only listed under date?? She has pictures, why wouldn't her ad be under gallery and top as well?? Wonder if the extra advertisers under date are aware they don't show up otherwise.

A lot of advertisers are only available sporadically. They advertise the day they are available. No point looking at ads for ones who were available yesterday but not today.

They may advertise sporadically but their ad may still be accessed even if buried when you search by name.

So I guess that is another way BP is searched, by name. BP only holds onto certain ads for a "grace" period... others are in the search longer

I look by date so that I know the listing are for SPs who can be reasonably expected to be available. I also develop a quick impression of what I think the person might be like from what they say in the ad and just as importantly, how they say it. It's kind of like reading a resume, attention to details makes a difference.

I also reject escorts that have a number of pictures of things that are clearley pulled off the internet one excort had a picture of a boxes of popcorn another had a lot of lol cat pictures these got rejected .

I tend to go right to the gallery. I prefer to see the photos first and then read through the ad following up with a board review to see what the good word is. I didn't realize that some ads aren't showing up there. I wonder if they're getting picked up later in the day.

In other urban centers (e.g. Toronto or Vancouver), because there's so many ads (and repeats) in a given day, I tend to use search terms I'm interested in (e.g. busty, curvy, cougar etc.)

face pic are important but explicit pic are as well . shows the sp is serious . will not cancel on you .
