How do you stop a psycho?

So an old work-mate and I were enjoying some sexting and emails back and forth. Nothing came of it and we aren't doing it anymore.
She has lost her mind and is threatening to send the works to wifey.
I'm ignoring the email and text threats, I think (hope) she's just trying to get under my skin.
Anyone have any idea on how to make her go away? Or an excuse to change wifey's phone number?
I am pretty sure she won't follow through, even she knows there would be consequences.

Ouch, my sympathies. In future sexting encounters, I suggest you use a more anonymous email account that can't be traced to you. Rockman59@gmail.com, for example, is something your wife probably won't recognize and thus renders you blackmail-proof.

For this one, it depends on how dumb or high-maintenance your wife is, and how clear the link is to the email account you were using. If its an anonymous email account and your wife is dumb, then deny deny deny. You may get away with it. But if its a work email account and your wife is high-maintenance and smart, then if the nutbar goes to her, I would 'fess up and argue that it was just electronic fun and you never considered a physical meeting, let alone actually cheated. It was just for kicks.

Plan B would be to make up with the nutbar, re-start the sexting so she thinks you guys are buds again, then in a few weeks/months, orchestrate a mutual 'breakup' that does not leave the nutbar pissed off at you. Changing phone numbers seems like a good idea too. Say you got a better deal with another carrier and give her a new phone and phone number.
