How do you spray the ice?

Does anyone here have NHL skating skills. I want to ask how do you stop on dime and spray the ice with flakes. I've seen those guys spray the ice taller than themselves. Its looks awesome sometimes.

And lastly how the hell do you do a hockey stop on both sides. I can stop left but not right. Thanks.

It takes practice; and you'll fall down, probably lots, before you master it. Try this, Stay right by the boards, slowly skate a few feet and then using the board to support yourself do the stop. Possibly the side you have difficult stopping on is your weaker ankle. So it'll take time to build strength and the skill to do. You can practice this at public skates or you might check your local rec commission for skill building session or take a few lessons. Yo didn't mention whether you were doing this wearing equipment. Full gear really take the pain out of falling. Good luck.
