How do you define the actual appointment time?

I think you misunderstood something along the way sartorial? Just because your appointment doesn't officially start til 2:15, doesn't mean you have to be gone by 3pm! An hour is still an hour, no SP has yet said differently that I've seen, at least in this thread.

And I am confused, since when does taking an elevator take 5 min? (not directed at you satorial, everyone has said it) In my experience, as I'm running around trying to get my strappy high heels on and done up, (and failing), it takes less than a minute.

I would debate whether showering and chit chatting is part of the hour or not though. Some say yes, some say no. In my experience people arrive showered, do the donation thing, I leave for a minute to get beverages and then the massage starts, while we chit chat. Showering at the end is on top of my hour, but I can't speak for escorts on that one. The massage thing is different, you pay for services, not companionship so the massage lasts an hour, cleaning up and dressing is done after the hour is up.

well I'm not sure about the incall thing as I don't provide those.... but for an outcall, I always leave early to leave time for parking and traffic... I always find out if I'm able to arrive early or not beforehand, if I'm not able to get there early and I AM early, I wait for the appointed time...

I believe the hour starts when I get there.. but I've never been a nit-picker on when I leave. Generally, timing works out for me and I usually start dressing when he does. A few minutes late or early leaving has never been an issue. My time is money, but becuase I only take one client a day; I never have to rush out to shower and get ready again. I prefer the un-rushed hour!!

Unfortunately, not everyone seems to arrive freshly showered (see the thread on hygiene in the Lounge and the thread on this subject under the Edmonton section), unless they are coming straight from their hotel or home (which is not always the case).

Some SPs consider shower time as part of the appointment time, others do not (unless they join the client in the shower). I hate to bring up the old hygiene thread, but is this the reason some clients decline/are reluctant to take a shower at the beginning of a session - even though they really need one???? Is it necessary to ask and clarify this point when setting up an appointment (if so, what other points should be clarified)?

I totally agree. For the sake of arguement, there should be a standardized guideline what that 60 minutes should be included .Alternately can list in small prints in the Sp's web site!

I absolutley agree with massage girl about "never arrive early' I know that it is polite to arrive early in most cases, but not this one gentlemen. Speaking for myself, I usually push most all things to the last minute, meaning if for instance, I have to travel somewhere and I know it takes about 17 minutes for me to get there I will leave at, say,

i completely disagree with this concept of being expected to showup 5 minutes late.

most of the time i am on a tight schedule. 5 min is often no big deal. however it 5 min can turn into 10 or 15. sometimes even 5 minutes makes a big difference in my busy day.

plus you sps make it sounds more like youre our girlfriends rather than escorts. im paying you for your time. i expect you to be ready for the time i booked you for.

dont put the onus on me to come late soley because you can not manage your time and be ready on time.

WOW! this is so funny watching the degree of conviction to which everyone here holds value to those 5 minutes. Isn't pooning supposed to be FUN?
I think it kinda takes the fun out of it if either party is staring at their watch trying to figure out whether or not they being ripped off or not. I think all the fun should just happen naturally. You both have internal clocks that will tell ya when it's time to start winding things down.

As far as what time the appointment should start at; If it's smack dab on time, well great. If you find yourself here early a call to see if I can recieve you would be grand. If you are running late also a phone call would be appreciated. Personally I try to be ready at least 10 minutes in advance, but sometimes I too am blow drying my hair right up until that last minute.

Lol, we're WOMEN more than escorts! We are ready on time, but just "satisfactorily" ready instead of "at our best" ready. Really if you had any idea exactly how many products we need to apply to be "at our best" ready, you'd be glad we're answering the door at all! Let me see, there's bathing then shaving, body scrub and elbow scrubing, shampoo, conditioner then mousse and hairspray, then face cream, undereye cream, foundation, powder to set it, eye liner, lip liner, lipstick, mascara, and eyeshadow, deoderant, purfume, and a few more I am not remembering. Hello all, interesting thread... I had to mention that at IB showering before or after is not part of the hour unless she's invited in The only stumbling block is if she had another appt. coming.... Also showing up early is OK, if the lady isn't ready a friendly phone lady will let you in and guide you past the "scary mud monster" lol Allison

I don't believe that "shower time" is included in their session. Actually I find it respectable and polite, I mean I got showered and clean last minute for them why wouldn't they? Thats the beauty of being an independent. You make the rules, their is no time pressure and if it goes a little longer than arranged oh well, if your enjoying each others company, why not?
