How do I copy a DVD to my Hardrive and play it

I use copy/paste to transfer the files from the DVD to the Hardrive. However I am no able to play it.

I could go in and play video files but then there is no audio.

What have been doing wrong?

Not entirely true, sure you cant directly copy them from one dvd drive to another, but u can decrypt them and copy them. ...i rent all new release dvds instead of buying them, and using a couple of free software prgrams, can decode them, rip them and reburn them onto a blank dvd. Never had one problem yet...that includes ALL new release dvds...last one i did was The Incredible Hulk...works great
