I've been all over my user CP link. I found edit profile and edit avatar but neother appear to have a place to add a new avatar.

There was a post about this a couple of weeks ago. No new avatars. Only those who had them before the format change have them now.

Here's a workaround that I've started doing.
Upload your avatar to an image hosting site, and then add an "" link to that "avatar" to the bottom of your post. Result: a makeshift avatar.
[B]Bonus:[/B] I'm not restricted to the draconian 50 x 50 sized avatars on PERB. And, I can still change the "avatar" at will by simply uploading another file with the same name.
[B]Downside:[/B] you have to manually insert the image code with each post (but this extra step just takes a few seconds).

Since coming back to PERB (and getting used to the new gay marriage look ) I've been trying to figure out how to change my avatar back. After poking around old posts on the topic, it looks like this is no longer possible for some undisclosed reason.
So this suggestion by Bull looks like the only way a poster can get a new "avatar".

HiFi has a great gloss on the avatar thing. A "name", an "avatar" and a "sig" all in one click. Great stuff!
