How do access properties for Macromedia?

H

Hardatwork

I've got a clip on a website that I'd like to post a link to, but it's a Macromedia Flash Player link and anytime I try to right click on it to get the properties it just gives me two options: Settings and About Macromedia Flash Player 7.

How do I get the URL address for a direct link from a Macromedia object?

Thanks in advance for your help.

I'm using Mozilla so I......

ctrl+I

goto the "media" tab

scroll down till you find the *.swf file you want to link to, click on it and on the bottom half of the window you'll see all the info to do with it.

You can just copy the URL and then paste it into where ever the hell ya like.

NOTE: maybe try pasting it into a blank page first to make sure it works and it's the flash file you want.

Hope that helps.

You have to view the source code (unless the designer blocked it)…it’s often hard to understand, unless you know HTML.

Just PM me the link and I’ll take a look for you.
