How did you first become aware of SP review boards on the internet?

Late bloomer I guess. Didn't know about them until late last year. Got a really shitty experience on a Vancouver trip and did a google on her name to see if I wasn't the only sap and found literally dozens of boards with her on and hence discovered this one too! Not much of an internet guy as I use computers at work and don't want to see the things at home and we have a no internet policy at work. This whole internet searching for escorts is one of the only reasons I am ever on line now other than to do computer banking.
The 4th sp I ever saw, a lovely Wpg gal, asked me, 'are you a "perv"?'
I stammered, "Well, uh, no, uh, I like just the straight forward stuff, you know, uh, maybe high heels, uh, if you have them, um..."
'No' she laughed, 'are you on PERB?'
"Uh, no...what's that?"

The Fergie board or otherwise known as the Edmonton Alternative Entertainment Board
I just googled and came across the Fergie board. Back then it was OK. Some guys actually posted legit reviews on it. Someone posted a link to PERB and I was amazed. A few years ago PERB consisted of one review after another. Some of the guys are sadly not posting anymore.

I started following the ASP newsgroups in the early-mid 90's. As they died down in I moved on to SFRedbook. I think I started posting there in '98. I discovered the newsgroups via searches and then Redbood via the newsgroups. When I moved to Vancouver, I simply did a search to find Perb. I knew there had to be board for the Vancouver area.
Sometimes, I miss the old newsgroups. They seemed to be more straight-forward info based.

I did some searching on "escorts" in Edmonton and found Canbest...other people mention Edmonton Alternative Entertainment Board and I recall seeing that board as well.
I then fell away from the hobby for a couple of years and and then when I started doing some searching again, all I found was PERB.

I found a business card on the wall in the bathroom at the Fox with an agency's web address on it.(VE I think) They had a link section with BC Darlings and PERB on it. (and others) I started lurking then joined...the rest, as they say, is history!
