How did you celebrate Canada day?

As I was away from my relatives working out of town I decided to treat my co workers to a BBQ. We talked about family,friends and what we liked about doing to celebrate the holiday. I was really fun, better than being alone watching television. I was happy that i didn't burn anyone's steak! Its always better to share the holiday than sulk and be negative. Its GREAT to be a Canadian. BBQ,beer and some sun its all good.

Ps Who has the most unique way to celebrate Canada Day? Bungee jumping etc? It would be great to share some ideas!

Watched the fireworks from the Legislature grounds, and then wandered across the High Level Bridge to Old Strathcona for a drink or 3. Whyte Avenue was wall-to-wall people, almost like a street party. Huge lineups at most bars too. And unlike 4 years ago, no riots - there were enough cops to make sure nobody stirred up any shit.

i also was at the bif naked show and then proceeded to drink beer on the street with my buddies and then got in trouble by a security gaurd for open alcohol and lighting bottle rockets.

I didnt make it home for Canada Day this year but i chowed down on some killer seafood in Shreveport LA and partook in some excellent fireworks/festivities for the fourth of july.
As usual our neighbors to the south made me feel welcome and treated me like family.

I went a little further than the nudie bar and spent it (an hour that is)
with my fav regular and then for the fourth of july we are going
to "casuallly meet at the park"....... Christ I hope it rains.......maybe
she'll invite me to her pad !!
