Hes lucky it wasn't a cat or else 4chan would ruin his life way worse than ctv or the justice system could.

Anyone who knows me, knows my dogs are my life.

I'm glad he didn't just take Buddy out to the bush and leave him for the wild animals... instead he admitted he did wrong by Buddy and took the (extremely difficult) steps to try to make it better. I don't condone what he did by any means but I do give the guy credit for not being a coward and making this poor dog suffer more for his mistakes... none of us really know what's been going on with "mike". For all we know he could be suffering major depression or some other mental health issue... or Buddy could have a health defect (goldies do have a lot of health issues) and his hair could very well have been covering his extremely thin frame... it is possible? (not all owners hug their pets regularly)

Hey, I hug, cuddle & pick mine up daily and just last night I was getting ready to take them out and was shocked at how much weight they'd gained! They have long hair, I groom them regularly and even weighed them two weeks ago... and in no time at all, all this weight was just suddenly there! (I found out my ex has been feeding them when I'm not around... he never fed them before so can you say VERY UN-f'in-COOL! I can't wait till he moves out!)

PS: Buddy needs a full blood panel and ex-ray done, the other dog needs to have a full health exam, Mike needs to have a mental health exam and if either one has a problem... then the other dog needs to be removed from his care.

Ok, so it was late last night and the picutres weren't loading and I tried to give this guy the benefit of the doubt... I finally got to see them this morning and there is absolutely no excuse for him getting THAT skinny!

He looks like a puppy and (having a few litters myself) I know puppies need a higher fat diet because they're growing. I really hope this boy can recover but at the same time I have to wonder what the long term health issues may be? How much damage have his bones and organs suffered... and what about his brain? Improper nutritian during growing stages can cause sooo many long term issues.

Trooper

This morning Global had a video of Trooper with his foster family petting his head on a couch.
I thought "what a lovely dog how could someone neglect him like that?"
I want that dog. (I can't have him of course, I just really like him.)

Seeing his owner, lost his job and all, he obviously never missed a meal! Boo hoo:mad:
