How strapped for cash does one have to be that they pay an SP with loonies and toonies? LOL. I have one client who ALWAYS pays part of the donation with about $10.00 worth of loonies and toonies. Imagine if everybody paid with loonies and toonies? I’d have to get my driver to bring a wheel barrel to the door to roll the donation back to the truck. I did have one night where this happened to me 3 times. I got home and had $38.00 worth of loonies and toonies. OMG!! At least walk your ass to 7-Eleven and change it in for a bill…
I am fully aware that money is money, but I don't want to go home at the end of the night and have to roll it.

Just my little pet peeve for the day.

the loonie/greenback dilemma

Part of the fun in the States is tipping the stripper with small bills. Our loonie/toonie Canadian coins take all the fun outta that! :(

no, i meant you should get some older clients ... ;)
Ummm I don't know how much older I want to go when my clientel range from 30's to 50's and in some, not all but it has been the "older" one's doing this, to me, it makes them look cheap, pathetic and almost an insult to the sp herself. If I see the donation upon arrival and there is coin mixed in, sorry but the coin either A. tells me there is no tip and that is just fee, or B. Possibly a tip but doubtful. Before business when cash is counted if indeed the coin IS part of donation, you'll be lucky to get 80% of my 110% effort of service.
Food for thought gentlemen and it just isn't I that I am speaking for.

Letting everyone know that you're thinking tips, before service, is basically going to create negative thoughts from those of us sick of upselling and whining for extras.
I am NOT looking for tip, I am just saying if the tip is in coin it doesn't so much bother me. But when the donation itself is in coin it's damn annoying. That is what I meant by starting this thread.

and what your saying is when you see coins you realize theres no tip so you only provide 80% service...and this means your looking for a tip simple as that!

she's lucky she doesn't have a delivery driver as a client, she'd be getting paid with coupons for free egg rolls and would just have to "chuck" them out

odd though, I thought S2H earned all sorts of cash in the O&G biz and wouldn't have to resort to the piggy bank for his philandering ways

I wonder if other SPs have this problem or it is isolated just to you? Why don't you post on your website and tell your clients that you prefer to be paid in bills and not coins.

So Jenn I guess that rules out my bag of gold nuggets eh?

Seriously paying in coins would be just tacky in my opinion. I see what Jenn is saying about providing 80% because of coins, here's why in my mind.

I use coins when purchasing something to simply get rid of the darn things. Most stores welcome the needed change so everyone is happy. So to pay someone in coins that I want to get rid of and they don't NEED the change for the business - is in a sense disrespectful.

And when you are paying in advance, for the pleasurable experience, why would you want to do anything that even smells of disrespectful. For me I would go through the trouble of having the highest denomination in my donation - in a clean uncrumpled envelope.

In the late 60s a canadian navy ship went into a middle east port and paid the ladies with CTC money, the canadian gov had to make good about $60,000. Don't know if true ,but story went around the Canadian forces then

One thing that may contibute to coins appearing in the donation is most ATM's only dispense twenties, and when the donation is, say $250 or $275, you have to plan ahead to have smaller bills on hand to make up the $10 or $15 (or you end up giving a tip before the session starts).

I agree, though, it is very chintzy to pay with coins, and I would do anything to avoid that.

Personally, I would feel like a cheap bastard for giving an escort change as part of her payment. How much more insulting can you get? I don't think it matters if it's a higher end escort or lower end escort that your visiting, it's an insult just the same. There is a corner store on almost every corner now days. Take a walk and change it for a bill.
Like Avarice mentioned. Some guys have incomes that don't allow them visit an escort as often and they have to save to see one. Ok, does it mean he has to pay in change or his Tim Hortons tip money? Maybe he could hit a bank or a corner store and trade it for bills.
This is the same thing for anybody who seems to be supporting the idea of paying an escort with change. I'm sure that if you work in retail, you don't appreciate being paid in change for a lot of the purchases. Yes, you deal with it because it's the business. It still doesn't make the job any more enjoyable when you have to start counting change.
Heck, we live in a time where some corner stores won't accept large amounts of change. Have you ever walked into a corner store, and the person ahead of you is buying a package of cigarettes with dimes and nickles? It's frustrating as hell.
I think she has a valid point. After all, she did mention it was just a pet peeve.
One thing I'm learning very quickly about perb is that there are circles of people who may dislike somebody or their opinions and others will jump on the band wagon to fit in. Somewhat similar to grade school. I have to at least give her credit for having it in her to voice her opinion. I work in industrial. If I worked in the service industry or in retail, I myself would get annoyed with change. Even if it is part of what you have to deal with everyday.
