I had good intentions. But the way I was treated, misunderstood, blamed, hated, rejected,...etc. was very disappointing. It became worse with this;

I say this to those of you who want PERB to be the exemplar of pooning resources: You're dreaming.

That can't possibly happen. Why, you ask? No one single resource can be everything to all people and no one single resource can provide ALL the information everyone needs.

I used to revere--nay, worship--the Encyclopaedia Britannica when I was in school and now, the Britannica is considered by many to be a relic from a bygone era. I cannot simply turn to the Britannica for all my information. I also have to consult newspapers, online news sites, periodicals (that's magazines, by the way), books, and other resources because the world and all its information is literally changing every second.

You want information on pooning? There's PERB and, believe it or not, countless other online resources.

There is no perfection. I said it many times. Let me remind myself of why I started this whole thread to begin with;

You might have noticed a slow down in Edmonton section. Without pointing fingers or thinking that for this board to work another has to die. That is not true. All boards can work (and exist) at the same time just fine. I do not wish anything bad to any board.
For hobbyists it takes few seconds to post a review in more than a board.
For provides it takes few seconds to post an ad. in more than a board and it gives more exposure and avenue.
Again without pointing fingers, name calling or drama. What do you think should be done?

I don't think anyone is looking for PERB to be perfect or for PERB to be the center of the universe. Dr X-Man has the right idea. He is looking for a path forward.

PERB does not need to be the only source of intel but it can and should be a great place to come for intel about the hobby.

Reviews, reviews, reviews, Reviews are by far the most important part of the board and what really makes an impact. I would love to read more Wolvie reviews. It does not matter if there has been 3 reviews of the same girl last month. Another review will show she is a lady worth seeing.

The real question here is what kind of board do you want PERB to be?

Of all of the members on here that I / we wish would just GIVE UP, you my friend, are so far down the list that you end up near the top of a different list. A list of respected members in here, IMHO.

Great thread Dr. X! You've already helped the Edmonton section of PERB enormously just by posting this. Fred Zed should send you a thank you because as Fiddy pointed out the number of reviews has increased dramatically here since you spoke up! Kudos to you!

PERB is what you decide to make it. You can`t really spend too much time worrying about what a couple negative nacey`s think about you.

There a lot of people out there that will complain no matter what you say and no matter how you choose to write your posts. There will always be a certain element on both PERB and CAF who are looking for any excuse to be negative about something.

These people love drama and they seek out conflict. The only effective approach to deal with these individuals is to deny them what they want.

The positive members on PERB can do the following to deny these trolls their pleasure:

- Ignore them and post around them
- Don`t let them derail a thread. Ignore them and post something that will keep the thread on topic
- Report any seriously bad behavior to the mods so they can deal with the issue

Most important: Have fun and don`t allow the negative forces that exist on every board to drag you down.

Now someone will call me your ... cousin (LOL). It is O.K. to whoever called me names before. I do not hate anyone. Fill your hearts with love. Time to make love to these lovely girls.

It`s a great thread. Hopefully the pooners of Edmonton will start to realize having two main boards are better than having just one. (1.7 times the intel: A lot us us double post) There`s room for both PERB and CAF to suceed.

If both boards are doing well, there will be checks and balances in place to make sure we have all the intel we need before taking the plunge.

I`m out of words, what can I say that was not said elegently, elequently,...better than I can imagine.

I think this has to be one of the most entertaining Moderator posts I have read on PERB in quite a while. It's good to see the powers that be are having fun.

I hope this spirit of joy can trickle down to some of the more grumpy members on the board.

Hmmmmmm... I didn't know that.

I mention to most if not all of the ladies I session with that I am on PERB (just comes up in the chit chat) and I have never heard any of them shy away because I say that.
I have had a few that tell me that if I end up posting a review, especially after what could be classed as a good time, that they hope I'll be kind. lol
Maybe for some of the ladies, by telling them you are a member of the review boards, that could push them to provide BETTER service, n'est pas?

But maybe you and I just see different ladies, Markl.

But for now, I'll just keep sharing "my secret" with the ladies, cuz it hasn't hurt me yet.

Hasn't hurt you, but... the reason being, and it is logical. If someone who is really not an attractive guy goes in, and reads perb, will expect the same from the sp.
Which will not happen. Also if the guy is cheap and demanding. I have heard stories of mr. Mick Shagher being in that department.
The gals don't appreciate always their names being brought up.
Do we have an obligation to each other to report bad service? I think so.. but reflect on your own hygenine/looks before dissing a gal.
It is all common sense.

Most guys that have regular gals they see in the business gain an insight that should disturb them some.
I have chosen never to be a trick again, and am clean for 4 months now.
Cherry actually became a friend, despite what her co-workers think. I would talk to her and tell her I was thinking about seeing someone and she would tell me about respecting myself and the other person. I always respected gals in the business though. She just helped me realize I don't need to go see people and pay for sex.
