The effect a hot goalie has in the playoffs is well documented. In my memory, Ken Drysdale was the first to really skew a Stanley Cup. Well Jacques Plant but all I remember really is the original Jason slasher dude with Jacques original mask. How about Martin Brodeur with the NJ Devils some time back. One game in this shows the hot goalie effect. That and really good back checking by Florida. Let's see how it looks after 2 games.

Panthers had a hell of a road to get here. Tampa Bay, Boston and NY Rangers are all top eastern teams. Edmonton better solve this scoring situation or it will be over quickly.

Everyone siad the Timberwolves were gonna sweep the nuggets after the 1st 2 games and how'd that turn out 😂.... Mavs will play much better at home and if Kristaps injurry lingers, they most definitely have a chance

Big Bob is on a different level, panthers have 4 lines and 3 pairs of dman they can use all game.... Outside the top line and top dman pairing of oilers, they don't have the depth

1942 Maple Leafs v Redwings.
