Houston layover

I've asked the same question in the Calgary section and got some good info.

I'll be travelling to Mexico via Houston with 3 hr layover going and a 6 hr stop coming back.
Can anyone tell me if it is worth an excursion into town, or the nearest MP to the George Bush airport for a little service, rub and tug or more?

Look at ASPD.net. You will not be able, in my opinion, to do anything in the 3 hr timeframe, but should be able to in the 6 hr layover. I like maria spa (www.mariaspa.com), probably a 30 min cab ride - see Dee if you can and research her on aspd, or Delores. Avoid Monica. Also, more like an hour ride would be discretions (www.discretionsinhouston.com), no bad choice there. There are some others on the north side near the airport, but I am mostly in the southwest, but if you do a little research on aspd you will find some good places on hwy 59, IH 45 or the 1960 areas (those are all highway and or street names). Post and let us know how it went.

Reporting back

Just got back from Houston.
To summarize, it was worth the effort to get to Elite. I was fortunate enough to get an appointment with Vanessa for the day I was there. I've been an irregular traveler to Houston and had my share of delights and misses.
