HOUSING IN VANCOUVER SUCKS!!!!!!!! (rant)

I AM SO ANGRY!!!!!!

I've been looking for a new place to live for the past 2 MONTHS!! and it's the same story over and over again!!!
yesterday i found an ad for a room for rent in kits. it was a good location blocks away from where i work and the price was reasonable. i called the person who was renting it as soon as i saw it (it was literally minutes after he had made the posting) so that i would be quick on the ball. i had the entire afternoon/evening free to view it, but he said he was busy and unable to show the room at that time. fair enough. he said that the following day would be better. fair enough. he took my information and said he would call me.

fast forward today, i'm awaiting this call but nothing. so at 2:30pm i decide to follow through to find out he has given it to someone else!!!!

CAN ANY TELL ME HOW THIS IS FAIR??? If he was busy the day before how did he find someone else?? where is the courtesy??? It's hard enough being an international student!!!! I'M SO FED UP!!!

It's because at the time, he was probably busy with SOMEONE else In Vancouver, you're just a number...lined up one after another to view a place. Demand outpaces location, so bend over and take a deep breath!

if he was busy with some one else he should have said so. it's just consideration. why give people false hopes in promising that you will show them the place the next day?

honesty and integrity do people still have these qualities or is it just replaced by desire for money?
