I am looking for anybody that could recommend a inexpensive hotel that has day rates in Winnipeg. I don't use credit cards which many require. I realize they would need a deposit though. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I know the Marlborough Hotel on Smith St. is often used for it's inexpensive day rates.
Others wil have a lot more experience with these things than I do though - hopefully they'll chip in about the cash thing.

Back in the day the Winnipeg Hotel was used a discreet meeting place. I'm not sure if it is still an option. I know the airline hotel is another place one could possible rent by day without a credit card.
I know when i stay in Winnipeg I dont use a credit card for my hotel room I always pay cash But they do take your ID and make a photo copy of it to keep on record
