Hotel recommendation

Can anyone recommend a decent (doesn't have to be 5-star) hotel that accepts cash deposits? I was a victim of ID fraud a couple years back and had to destroy my CC. I used to rent rooms at the A for this habit, but they appear to be temporarily closed. PM me if needed

Capri Motel I believe accepts cash and hourly rates. But haven’t been there personally, I just know of someone who stayed there.

The only place in town on Day Use https://ca.dayuse.com/ is The Humphry Inn. They do day rates without any online reservation fee so no CC needed there, and the room is paid for on check in. I'd be surprised if they won't take cash.

Let us know if it works. I've been considering the Sugar dating concept for a while and I'll need a place

There are other hotels that have day rates. That site you listed is not comprehensive. One example - holiday inn and suites downtown on portage. I’d suggest using hotelsbyday.com or just googling.

Why not use a prepaid credit card? Use whatever name you'd like to....

Alas most hotels won't accept the Prepaid cards for reservations. OP, I've heard of guys using Air B&B etc... in some cities. Some are good with single days and several use door codes etc.. so you never meet the owner. Some may be cheap these days, I haven't looked into it here, but it won't be as cheap as an hourly motel rate I'm afraid.
