To all the travelling SP's...

I'm sitting here in my room at the Westin, they use the key card access in the elevators here. However, if you have a key card, you can press any of the floors with suites. When questioned about it, the idea is that the hotel wants to keep non guests out of the guest areas, but guests with cards can pretty much go where they please (since often they are with other guests on other floors etc, and the hotel is not trying to inconvenience the travellers with having to pick up guests from other floors etc.) Bottom line is this...you don't need to have a card to access any of the floors. What I have been doing all week (mostly out of laziness) is ride the elevator from the lobby, wait for someone to put their card in and press their floor, and then press my floor right after. Works well with me...

Well, just thought I'd put it out there, in case some of us could not get to certain rooms at appointed times.

Cheers
