Yes HN, You have it right! What is the associated risk. I believe I certainly have a case of the paranoia.
I will be sure to get tested, and was wondering on some preliminary information on perhaps the risks and what tests might be warranted.
Thank you again
Hi khandles
Using a condom for oral sex is defiantly practicing safer sex. I have not heard of sexually transmitted infections (STI) passing this way.
If someone puts warm tea in their mouth and then places a condom on your penis with their mouth and gives you a BJ. In this situation I don’t believe the warm tea will have any affect on the strength of the condom. The only thing I wonder about is if there is enough time for a STI to pass.
I had a recent case were I saw a man in the clinic who seems to have gotten chlamydia this way. He had no other sex partners and he said the lady put the condom on with her mouth and gave him a CBJ. Again who really knows the full details, maybe he had other sex partners or maybe they had BBBJ for a long time before the condom went on.
I certainly don’t want to get anyone paranoid especially about using condoms for oral sex. It is just one case I have seen.
To answer your question I think the risk from this would be very low but we recommend anyone who is having sex to get regular testing. I would suggest testing for chlamydia, gonorrhea and syphilis. For accuracy it is best to wait 2 weeks before going for a test. Remember most places can test for gonorrhea and chlamydia with just a urine test. If you get any symptoms come in straight away.
Here is a link for information on getting tested.
