Is it just me, or is the current skip of Canada's women's national curling team, Jennifer Jones, not just smokin' hot!

Apart from the fact that curling is pretty much the only sport where you can smoke and drink from a mickey at the same time as playing it, she is pretty much the only thing I can think of to make me want to take it up.

So, I just read in USA Today that the US beat Canada in women’s curling. WTF.... That would be as wild as the USA beating Russia for the Olympic gold in hockey.....just a minute.....that did happen.....

Go USA Curling team.....

she's hot ... but so was Jenn Hanna from Ontario ... i think that was why the CBC took so much flak over their lousy coverage of the T of Hearts this year ... it was a babe-fest for once!

i know this is gonna sound even more nuts but I always thought Colleen Jones was hot, and was kinda shocked when i realized that Canada's resident curling queen was also the ditzy CBC weather girl a few years back. go figure!

anyways, sometimes she looks gorgeous IMVHO.

i know this is gonna sound even more nuts but I always thought Colleen Jones was hot, and was kinda shocked when i realized that Canada's resident curling queen was also the ditzy CBC weather girl a few years back. go figure!

anyways, sometimes she looks gorgeous IMVHO.

I used to think she was hot like 10 years ago. Now, just watching her munch on her gum I keep thinking of the Pac Man coming after my pecker. Would not be very sexy.

I really think that the Norwegian skip Dordi Nordby is hot............

.........for someone that's been in prison for 25 years!!!

Pascale Letendre the Ontario 3rd was very hot and Jeniifer Jones is as well and Jill Officer is not too bad. I won't say anything about the lead and the 3rd on that team because there could be relatives lurking on this board!

I just turned on the curling this morning and damm is the USA skip cute. But I have a question, how can a country that barely plays curling finish ahead of Canada ( we didnt even make the playoffs and the US is in the finals ) *sigh*

I am willing to bet that these ladies are all ex-Canadians who learned how to play the game before they moved to the US.

To be honest, I never remember seeing a curling rink anywhere in the US. I did not even know we had a team.

Hornydude...the next thing you know the US will win the gold metal for Hockey....Oh..just a minute that already happened.

1. Competitive women curlers are getting hotter every year
2. I know lots of guys who drooled when Kelly Law from BC curled
3. Ontario and Sask has the hottest young babes this year
4. European teams have many hotties too
5. When Russia women were in Wpg for the World's, the blonde lead was awesome and she claimed that she was a dancer (stripper) Guys followed her all over ..prob getting woodies just looking at her. A sexy sexy model type!.
6. The commercials on CBC television promoting that curling is fun has the most homely people in it ever! Turns me OFF for wanting to curl!
7. Majority of my friends cheered when Collen Jones lost out. The media turned everyone against them, cameras and mikes on them all the time, the third thinking she was so hot,,, peeewwww...yukky... glad they lost! Felt bad for the lead who was so humble.
8. The bars at curling bonspiels are full of hotties and the women go out of town without their men! Many love to let their hair down and party hardy!

Curling is fairly popular in some places in the US, mostly the northern border states. Also the US curling association hired former world champions Ed Lukowich and Rob Meakin to run their curling program.

Canada DID make the playoffs. They played in the 3-4 game. Many curling matches use the Page System for its playoffs. The top 4 teams make the playoffs with 1-2 playing for a spot directly into the final and the loser playing the winner of the 3-4 game.

Lastly it's nice to see the other countries getting a head in curling. While Canada has more than half of the world's curlers the other countries now have programs turning some great teams, such as those from Norway and Sweden.
