see i dont have a problem with look-alikes....the problem is this HOW MUCH DO THEY ACTUALLY LOOK LIKE YOU....thats the main issue...if u can honestly say that those pics are an accurate and i mean really accurate to the point of that a long term boyfriend of yrs cant tell the difference then fine im game and i'll call you tonight but theres a crap load of girls using look-alikes that are so off that at one point i seriously wanted to punch the fat bitch out and ask her to pay for my gas and time (not that i would have really accepted it) because it was seriously a joke...so thats the problem with me...and this happends every day on craigslist.

photos are deceptive... regardless of whether it is real or not. Nowadays with lighting, hair, makeup, certain camera tricks, they can make the most hideous people look like a supermodel so whos to say my photos are deceptive when there are far more people with glamourous photos that look nothing like them?? Everyones experience is different and the perception of what one may think can vary greatly depending on what thier expectactions are. The descriptions are accurate.. let your imagination do the rest. I consider myself a nice girl, attractive, smart, funny, energetic and a well rounded individual.

The last thing I want to do is have someone assume I robbed thier hard earned cash because I am posting "misleading" photos which by the way are a fair depiction of how I look.

And gentlemen, please be a little considerate about how you post descriptions of other individuals on a public site. I have zero tolerance for jerks. Be nice to me and you will get the same treatment.

I don't know......she charges so much to keep young guys out and because of her looks....... So if her pics aren't her how much does the price drop? I'd be curious to hear from some of her American friends, are their experiances the same as you guys in Van? I'm so happy to be on the island where the ladies are always wonderful.....

Dear Candace, I think it's safe to say that you got burned... thank goodness for Perb!! Regardless of look alike or whatever, it's still a misleading advertisment. You can sugar coat it anyway you want, it's still not YOU!! I'm guessing more people have problem with photos be deceptive or not, if it's NOT YOUR PICTURE, you shouldn't present it as yourself. My 2 cents.. or is it 3 cents by now??? lol

First off your comments are condescending to some of us who are a little more sophisticated than you think when it comes to viewing photographs. Many things are revealed in photos whether they be professional or amateur--even retouched. And I think many men will agree that they are wanting to see more than one photograph for that reason so they can better make a sound decision. You are already aware that some people viewing your site noticed that the photos are not all of the SAME woman.

And furthermore you are making assumptions about our individual tastes and perceptions. I'm sure you are aware that many of us are paying for a fantasy to be fulfilled. Sometimes that fantasy involves particular details that you may, or may not be aware of. For example, I have a thing for strong and shapely calves on a slim fit woman. I won't get into the reason's why. But I would be deeply dissappointed if that aspect of her anatomy turned out to be different. Or, some guys might have a desire for a woman with long blonde hair...natural blonde. The whole illusion could be destroyed upon arrival to find a brunette. Maybe it's a mole, a tatoo, a skin type, a hip to waist ratio, etc. See where I'm going with this ?

Obviously from your response in this forum you have revealed that the isssue of ' integrity ' is somewhat important to you--maybe for business reasons or maybe personal . Otherwise I imagine you would have disregarded PERB and it's members. Perhaps it's a matter of pride that you continue with rationalizations ??

Lol, I am almost loathe to keep this thread going. It has had quite a life. As someone who did see Candace. I actually did not really have an issue with her photos. I do not think they are that far off. I guess it isn't very fair to the actual person in the photos. Not everyone would want their photo used in an advertisement for escorting.

I do not regret seeing her. She was a nice enough girl and she was pretty attractive. I have never really understood why Perberts take such a high moral stance on this issue. If your sister was working in the industry, would you want her to place her photos all over the internet?

Candace is an attractive girl who provides the basic services expected from a professional companion.

Yup, because if she did that, she'd scare off any potential clients! Seriously though, it's a case of false advertising. If she puts up a disclaimer saying that the photos aren't actually her, but are representative then I don't really have a problem with it, as there's no attempt to deceive. In this case, it was only after being outed that she started the representative line. That makes her deceptive, and makes me wonder about what kind of service you might receive. It doesn't neccessarily mean that you'd be disappointed if you went to see her, but it does increase the chance of disappointment.
