Has anyone went to the show? I went yesterday and got a chacne to see the infamous Vern Yip. It was fun hearing some of the gossips in Trading Spaces from Vern. The audience asked Vern questions about some of the challenges they encountered during home decoration. There was a woman even had a picture of her living room with her. She was really determined to get some advice from Vern.
I didn't arrive until around 5:30pm so I missed part of Sarah Richardson's talk. She looked quite sexy though. The best part of the event was the fashion show sponsored by The Bay. Some of those models were smoking hot with long long legs!!! I wonder if the organizers received complaints from parents though. Some of the clothes on the runway were a little provocative, and we all know runway models wear nothing underneath the clothes they are showing. I had a few glimpse of the titties as the models walked by. I overheard a wife (maybe in her 60's) asking her husband whether he was paying attention to the clothes on the runway or the models. I had a chuckle when I heard that.
Overall, I had a good time and it was better than the one in previous year. I really wished there was more support from local architects, interior designers, and furniture makers to make this a better experience for the patrons. Our Home and Interior Design Show still lacks behind the one they have in Toronto.
Karim Rashid is a cocky bastard!
I saw him in the Toronto Interior Design Show a few years ago, he was cocky back then and more so now. He made a presentation using slide show and made fun of the size of the projection screen. He could really learned something from Vern and showed some respect to the organizers.
