Wheat Belly. Read it. Big agra is filling us up with all kinds of SHIT.

That food pyramid and Canada's Food Guide, total bullshit, designed by agribusiness not nutritionists.

I think many are misinformed about the reason behind many voting for Trump and supporting him. He is neither a Republican or Democrat. Before this run the only part of politics he was involved with was donating. He’s a business executive. Unfortunately, the US government is run just as a business. It’s not how it was originally intended to be, but it’s what it has become. During the election corruption from both major parties were exposed. The RNC and DNC are nothing more than parties of elitists than want control. Those Republicans you see speaking out against Trump are the individuals that are part of the establishment that many of us want gone. 2018 is going to be interesting indeed. We’ll see many establishment politicians be replaced with anti-establishment types. Many Americans are waking up and realizing that the parties are attempting to divide on every issue. Say goodbye to the GOP and DNC. You folks sit back and enjoy the firework display we have in 2018.

I wonder if that might spawn a third political party to arise in the states.
Always wonder why they have only a two party system there.

What's happening in 2018...I thought the US president gets elected for 4 years?
Mid term congressional election., half way through the President's term. All members of the House of Representatives and roughly a third of the Senate. It is a bit of a check and balance, hopefully also a wake up call to the President's popularity.

The Manafort/Gates charges will be screamed from the rooftops by the anti-Trumpers, but it would be a real stretch to connect them to him. Charges are for money laundering, and go back to 2006. Manafort was Trump's campaign chairman for what - 4 months in 2016?

Hillary's campaign chairman Podesta's brother is also being looked at by Meuller.

The relentless campaign to try to explain away Hillary's failure might end up exposing her back room shennanigans more than Trump.

isn't he like the Teflon don

I think he will be around full term possibly for a second
The President is for four years. If the President's party does poorly in the mid-term elections, it may be a reflection on his popularity.

I think it's going to shake up the Democrats and the Republicans.

George Papadopoulos wore a wire for a couple of months. It's looking like anyone that dealt with the Russians, (yes Hillary did) is about to get a reaming by Robert Mueller. George Papadopoulus plead guilty to all of the charges laid against him, his bargain to not die in prison was the wire and detailed confessions.

Donald Trump is John Gotti? You might have something there 7of9.
The famous Italian-American gangster of NYC. Godfather to the Gambino family.

They talk a lot on CNN about the "three" Amigo's being all connected with the Russians during
the election campaigns but they are not saying what they are being charged exactly with.

I mean, like what did they really do that was so bad? What's the dirt on the details folks?

Most grains have been genetically altered and our systems just can't handle them. When I eat wheat I find I get really bloated even if it's those supposed natural grains telling me they're not natural. The results have been startling too. I'm almost 49 with abs. I do occasionally cheat though. If I go have breakfast I'll add some gluten free toast. Bacon & eggs feels just empty without the toast on the side.
Something you should know about wheat.....after its harvested it is graded according to quality.
Around 1910 or so ,it became standard to bleach grain before grinding, which brought up the volume of human food supply, and high graded 50 to 70 percent of wheat ,that would have otherwise have been used for animal feed, and meat production.
Wheat that has not been bleached is of the highest quality, and hasn't been gassed with poisons ,in a giant hopper.
Depending on the year un-bleached flour can be as low as 15 % harvest volume.

On a side note.....around 1910 all grading , food standards, and processing were changed in grains and meats to feed the expected population explosion that was predicted for the next 60 years.
Marbled meat, bleached wheat, further processing, and factory farming became a matter of North American concern .....they were actually afraid that there wouldn't be enough food. It was at this time that the "new" more sustainable standards came into effect.
Any wheat that didn't make the grade, was pumped into animals.....marbling the fat induced meat, changing the standard. Although more tender, because it grew more rapidly, and the same volume of red meat was produced from a far younger animal....a new " better" standard was developed, and a use was found for the wheat that couldn't be gassed or bleached for the growing human population.
Bleaching or gassing became the standard, just like plastic containers to sell and store food.....back when testing wasn't yet developed ,to study the long term effects.
This fear was further added to in the 1930's.....in the 40's North American Governments , started building experimental farms, to alter animal livestock genetics , and seed banks for crop production.
These Government Experimental Farms are still around and in production......Frankenfood has been around for over 100 years.
For the record.....I only buy un-bleached flour, and only eat grass fed beef.

Continuing on Sybian's theme of providing food history:

http://sushiconcierge.tumblr.com/post/435517104/the-surprising-history-of-tuna-in-japan

I was eating sushi at a sushi bar several years ago and the Japanese sushi chef told me the same story as the 2nd post. He basically said that fatty tuna only became popular after the American occupiers introduced marbled beef to the Japanese diet which cultivated a taste for fatty foods. It makes you wonder how it has affected the general health of the Japanese.

I eat a lot of fatty stuff on my keto diet. I still feel a million times better than I did before keto.
Fat is not the problem, carbs and processed sugars are the problem.
No more sugar highs or food comas, feel much more stable all day long now.
