Hodgson & Grabner...Canucks Suck!!!

I'm glad to see them take the slow road with Hodgson.
He's only 19, and coming off a back injury. Let him dominate the junior ranks for another year, and spend next year in the AHL. He will be a solid player down the road though.
As for Grabner, I've never felt he would amount to much. If he made the team, he would probably have had a few good weeks, then flamed out a la Harold Druken. He will be solid in Manitoba, but that's about it.
As for your point that "The Canucks Suck"... you're just proving your ignorance, yet again.
If they sucked, these guys would have made the team. They have good depth, and don't need to have questionable prospects on the roster. This team is one of the strongest lineups in the league, top to bottom.

I'm with you BJ Hunter.... sort of. I like Cody Hodgson. He's a class guy and a blue chip prospect but Grabner I think will be a bust. I am rooting HARRRD against he Canucks this year, not because I don't like the team, just the ignorant, self-righteous fans who cheer for them. The story will be the same as past years: Canucks win a weak division, go to the second round (maybe) and get bounced by either a better team or a up and coming team (would love it to be St Louis). Here are some things to remember Canuckleheads.
1. Luongo, as good as he is, has won 2 playoff series in his career so far. Cam Ward and Marc-Andre Fleury, who are competing with him for an Olympic spot, have Stanley Cup rings. He will be overplayed and crap out in the playoffs. He's only human, remember that.
2. Ryan Kesler and Alex Burrows had great years last season. ONE good season. There is a possibility, a real one, that they will be rather average or worse this season. They are not top 6 forwards but will probably play that role with limited success. Shirokov has looked good in the pre-season but its PRE-SEASON. Lets see how he fares over 82 games.
3. Everybody loves their defense. Well Schneider is already injured, Salo will be soon and Erhoff just takes the place of Ohlund. Their defense is just as skilled as last year, with a slight change of cast

historically they have always overrated their talent and prospects...

Awesome stuff, this is the medicine that bandwagons (BW) & canuckleheads (CH) should take before stepping up the back of the bandwagons.
Pretty much what I've been saying all year long, all summer long. I can even go further that on any other team, Burrows & Kesler would probably be 3rd liners.
But hold on!! the BW & CH dont know the rest of the NHL, so obviously, they think them & Sedins are Top 6, lol

Cody is better off going back and taking on a leadership role for the Junior Tournament. He might also be traded (like Tavares) to another team who is making a push for the Memorial Cup. Sergei Shirokov and Tanner Glass showed more this pre-season. Grabner was the disappointment.
Hopefully - we can at least make it to the Conference Finals . . .at least the rink will always be sold out. Look what the Dallas Stars need to do in order to sell tickets.

Probably the best thing for Cody to be sent down. He made bone-headed giveaways, which had nothing to do with his back injury. AV said plain and simple, he wasn't at the NHL level.
If only the BW & CH could go back to all the threads & posts how he would just 'rip it up' after his junior season, AHL, and all that bullshit, plus that 'he's got nothing to prove'...yeah, right.
