Hi,

Linked is a first-hand report on TJ, and specifically a first-time visit to HK Club there, done just before Covid times.

Prices have increased, and smoking is now (thankfully) banned in all of the strip clubs in Zona Norte. (it was horrible!)

I still can't emphasize enough that a curious visitor won't likely encounter any troubles at all if he visits San Diego, takes either the great trolley bus from downtown, or drives to the border, and then walks across before taking the shuttle to Zona Norte.

Common sense would say to avoid getting considerably drunk in such environs, but I'm sure all will have a great time if avoiding that.

I don't know what happened to me. I look at my old posts about traveling and I had so much enthusiasm. I have no more. The internet and tech have made all my interest in traveling go away.
I recently bought a 85 inch 4k TV and its so real life looking that it made travel to me redundant. No one on earth is unseen now, some videos look better than being there on Youtube. There is nothing left to the imagination. I remember as a teen if you wanted to see a place you had to go to the library and look at the encyclopedias.

I just see travel as a pain in the ass now. Maybe at the most twice a year, even if I was rich. Once a year is about right.

As for Tijuana. I will go next fall 2024 as I have some money to expire on Alaska Airlines otherwise I would stay home.
