Hobbying in Shanghai

I'll be working in Shanghai for 4 months. I can't go dry for a whole 4 months. Any tips ? Advice ? Locations ?

beware of being drugged and robbed, very common

recommend you meet some of the expat community working there and get a referral to someone reliable

had a friend who lost passport, credit cards, cash, etc.

Some amazing women there. You don't necessarily need to go the SP route.
But, it has also been a long time since I was there so can't really give any more advice.

I reiterate, be careful. 10years ago was the time. Everything super expensive there now.
A friend got into a place, found himself surrounded by gangsta's . It cost him $200 to get out of there, and he considers that a lucky escape, they were asking for a lot more.
If you've got your own place, I would suggest Asian Friend finder or something like that and find a nice one for gfe.
You might come back hitched. They are good women there. Sexy, fashionable, soft on the outside, tough as nails on the inside. Good with money. Never forget that.
Definitely, you should find a way. Don't deny yourself the experience.

I would concur with most of this, as it has been over 10 years since I was there. Don't know about the gangsta part, though.
