Was just wondering about the reason as to why guys participate in this business.

Is it to just have fun and enjoy little bit of extras besides your current relationship Or
is it that it's the only way of satisfying your sexual needs?

I know it maybe different for different people but it would be a good idea to know what most guys' "reason of participation" is!

For me it's was simply for some fun although that's sadly not often the case these days, just don't enjoy it like I used to.

I don't believe in the "I need it for satisfying my sexual needs" excuse.. no you can beat yourself off or practice celibacy like a monk.

& I have nothing against people seeing SPs, but you don't need to do it, try and change my mind.
It becomes a need when it becomes an addiction. Just saying.

Is fishing a hobby or a need? We certainly need to eat to stay alive; at the same time, fishing is a great hobby as well. But why does anyone goes fishing when they can buy fish from supermarkets?

I'm addicted to coffee, internet, water, food, showers, walking, etc. But I'm not hearing any attempts to intervene from anyone.

I think having a need is not equal to going to extremes to get it. Like we have a need for food, but cannibalism is where we draw the line, no?

I don't like the idea that sex is a "need", it feels like that would be a way for people to legitimize rape.
Sex itself is definitely a need. Both men and women have it but it is alot stronger in men which is why men pay women for sex and not the other way around. Gentlemen can have a better understanding of how it feels to have urges I think. But just as the need to eat is not a justifiable reason for stealing, the need to sexual release is not a justifiable reason for rape but the criminal side of it all is a totally different subject I don't wanna discuss it here.

It is undeniable that Sex is a basic instinct like other instincts such as the need for food, water, sleep etc. And just because satisfying it results in enormous pleasure doesn't make it Not a need. Try drinking a glass of water after several hours of thirst and see how much joy you get out of it.

Although I agree that if pooning becomes an addiction then it's a different problem, I don't think masturbation can come close to being a reasonable alternative. And I think if you ask anyone who has tried celibacy like a monk they would tell you how much suffering they go through (it is unnecessary I believe). Which is a stupid idea for anyone to do it if you ask me unless they have a good reason for it such as athletes. But the monks are different cause other than being a whole different lifestyle, they live up the mountains and are not constantly provoked so it's easier for them I suppose.

For me I would never go see a SP if I was in a well functioning relationship. As a single man I do it not as a hobby but just to respond to my natural needs (and get so much pleasure out of it in the process).

Yeah definitely not a need. People have been locked in coffin sized confinements for years without sex but somehow subsisted on food and water. Pretty sure these two things are the only true needs of life.

Just because lack of something doesn't kill you does not mean that it's not a need. Yes Water is absolutely essential and lack of it kills the body in a few days. But imagine only drinking the absolute minimum amount of daily water needed merely to survive. You will be in constant pain of thirst and cannot think about anything other than drinking more water. Not having sex for men doesn't kill you but you'll always be in need of release and pain of urges which is absolutely hard to withstand.

I don't expect the ladies to be able to fully comprehend this just because men and women are physiologically built differently and feel this need differently as I pointed out earlier men pay women for sex and not the other way around.

But it is an undeniable fact that sex is a need and an instinct and my original question that I asked was whether people do pooning just for this need or they already have it satisfied at home and are just doing it for the extra enjoyment is all.

You don't have to but men do. Cause men have stronger needs and urges. Don't try and go against nature here sweetheart. Accept realities of life and flow with it.

??..

I'm going to agree with both of you. Women have just as strong urges as men (usually) but the way society is setup they will never ever have to pay for sex, it's just the way it is. Why it's this way well that's for another debate.
Yeah it’s societal. Sex has been marketed as something men pursue and women give up. Such utter bullshit. Contributes to rape and incel culture

And talk like that is why men more often have to resort to paying for sex than women. :) It's not that women are less horny, but it's talk like that that makes them so.

Anyway the lack of understanding appears to be mutual: CharleeBeckett is talking about physical need and Khost is talking about emotional need. You're talking about two different things using the same word, so that's a good part of why you can't agree.

Lack of companionship (sexual or otherwise) won't kill you but it's generally recognised as not good for one's mental health.

khost said “It is undeniable that Sex is a basic instinct like other instincts such as the need for food, water, sleep etc.”

so yeah, we’re talking about the same thing.

everyone has different emotional needs but we all have the same physical needs unless we are physically disabled in some way.
