The book "Why The Allies Won" explains why the allies won and argues that the Nazis came close to winning the war. Hypothetical: Hitler becomes dictator of Germany in 1934, but is soon assassinated(There were actually numerous attempts on his life). Assume you replace him. How would you wage war differently in order to ensure victory?

Not invade Russian in 1941... Not kill 10s of millions of innocent people on the grounds of religion, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, etc, etc, etc, would also be a nice.

Didn't Tarantino cover this in Inglourious Basterds?

There would have been no WW2 (European front) without Hitler, the war with Japan probably still would have happened.

The story of Command & Conquer: Red Alert video game takes place in the 1950's of an alternate universe where Albert Einstein traveled back in time and killed Hitler in 1924. The Soviet Union ends up being the ones invading Europe, as well as China, starting WWII.

Stick to making volkswagons, radios and other really cool consumer products. Build up the middle class. Cancel the Holocaust too. Forget about conquering other places. Leave that crap to Benito Mussolini.

People forget that Germany started a European war, the world war was started when Japan attacked the Americans (as well as the European colonies). That would have happened irrespective of what went on in Europe.
