Hi everyone! Don't want to waste your time - just new to posting here and wanted to establish a comfort level before wading in with both feet (in my mouth!).

Everybody does seem pretty friendly and 'community spirited' - I guess just want to say "hi and thanks'

Welcome Sbill ...

you are on for the RIDE of your life as long as you treat the Girls with the respect that many of them justly deserve. It is a fine Hobby (wink). Much more reliable than an Oiler's game, only slightly more expensive and certainly more rewarding (LOL).

Thanks, guys...

for the welcome, encouragement and gentle advice (re: respect - point well taken).

I thought I might have something to add to a thread on another forum, but couldn't shake an absurd fear that I would hit some obscure button on posting, and, tacked on to my post, share all my personal data with the entire world (and e-mail a copy to Grandma!). So, thanks for giving me the opportunity to post a 'safe' thread in a 'safe' forum and re-assure myself that the sky has indeed not fallen.

So, now I can feel free to post when I feel I have something to add to a thread. I believe I am a resepectful person, and will try to avoid being extremely negative or indiscreet, as I see there are many fine examples of informative, courteous and respectful posts (as well as some fine mutual bantering between 'old friends' on the board). From what I've seen, this is a very supportive, informative and fun community that I hope to be a small part of!
