Hey Vancity Girls - Is Dare to Wear stuff any good??

Thinking of stocking up on some new fun lingerie in Van.

We're pretty limited for lingerie over here on the Island (where I live). We have a few "adult stores", but they all have the same overpriced, polyester, one-size-fits-all stuff, which is itchy as hell and does NOT fit if you're petite.

I went to the Dare to Wear website and they have some cute stuff in small sizes. My question: Their stuff is definitely "inexpensive" cheap, but is it also "fall-apart-instantly-at-the-seams" cheap?

Input appreciated. If any girls wanna go lingerie shopping next weekend, PM me and we can go together. It'll be fun, I promise. (Wow, that sounds kind of creepy)

I don't mind when lingerie has a short life, as long as it also has a small price tag. In fact, that's better for more variety in the selection. Who wants the same outfits to be in rotation a year from now? How boring...

I hate Dare to Wear. There, I said it. I wear mostly VS, Agent Provacatuer, and Fredericks as I haven't found anything here that really strikes my fancy. I will say this - Model Express for stockings and depending on your taste shoes/sexy costumes!

Let's not forget that some guys actually prefer the 'jeans and a hot top' look...kinda fuels the fantasy of seeing a lovely young lady at the bus stop and then acting out the scenario! Which isn't much different from requesting the hot secretary look, because you've been fantasizing about someone at the office for a while.

What one guy thinks is boring, another guy thinks is awesome! So, once again, let's not knock any one look. I vote for variety in the closet! And for the gentleman letting the lady know which kind of look he'd like to see today!

I was in Van this long weekend but didn't end up having any time to go shopping (too many turkey-related responsibilities) I'll probably go back in a month or so, and will definitely check some of these places out.

A side note to all the guys in Vancouver who PM'ed: Sorry but I do not tour at all. (I can't reply to each PM - the system makes you wait 90 seconds between message, and I don't really have time to sit around for 40 minutes sending the same message over and over. I definitely recommend Deadly Couture.. I find they have higher quality clothing, definitely a little higher priced and less selection than Dare to Wear, but it seems to be geared to the slightly more fetish oriented people. Always stay away from packaged clothing though if you want it to last any half decent Amt of time.

Love this one too; would totally get it if they made a non-leather version!
